The Rheinauer House, Paris Suite in the Heart of Ocala's Historic District. Paris features a Queen size bed, and private bath. The larger claw foot soaking tub can also be used as a shower. Welcome to The Seven Sisters Inn at The Rheinauer. This stately home was originally built in 1891. It is named after Mr. & Mrs. Charles & Emma Rheinauer, who lived here from 1895 to 1942. Mr. Rheinauer was once the mayor of Ocala, and local business owner. This historic home has been owned by numerous people, as a private residence and office. At one time it was known as the Seven Sisters Inn. Recently the house has gone through extensive restoration & rennovation. I am very excited to own and live in this amazing property.
A short time ago, I was a guest in this house, traveling to Ocala from South Florida, to attend my daughter Lea’s wedding. While enjoying a cup of coffee on the wrap around porch, I struck up a conversation with another guest.
Unbeknownst to me, I was talking to the owner. Let’s just say, that was the most expensive cup of coffee, in the history of coffee! I went back to South Florida, & immediately sold my home. I’ve placed my bets, that Ocala is going to be a wonderful place to start the next chapter of my life, with family close by.
With the help of my Ocala family, and the loyal & dedicated staff that has agreed to stay on, the legacy of owning this incredible home is now in my hands. It is a privilege and an honor to live in this property, care for it, and share it with our guest from around the world. The Rheinauer represents true historic Ocala grandeur, boutique style. We are in walking distance to all that downtown has to offer.
Throughout my career in sales & marketing in the hospitality-design industry, I’ve learned many things. The best part of traveling, is spending time in an environment beyond the ordinary. This house is magical. Whether you are a visiting equestrian, UF Alumni, international traveler, celebrating a special occasion, or just exploring beyond your own backyard, the natural beauty & charm of this area finds you.
