Enter the space through your private deck and spacious sunroom which gives a relaxing vacation feel. The remodeled place offers a private bedroom with fireplace, cal-king bed. A private full bathroom and spa. The space includes a kitchenette with fridge and microwave, fully stocked and an orange juice / breakfast bar for an excellent start of the day!
The space
Come stay in our spacious guest retreat with private sunroom + deck and relax on our 3 acre tree lined property!
*GUEST QUARTER IS ATTACHED TO MAIN HOUSE*
Located near the summit of Laureles Grade, surrounded by vineyards and ranches. Only 5 min. From Laguna Seca raceway, 15 min to downtown Carmel Valley, 20 min. to downtown Monterey/the Warf, 30 min. to the lovely Carmel-by-the-sea and within day trip distance of Big Sur.
The guest retreat has been remodeled for your comfort & enjoyment. The guest quarter includes a Cal. king bed, setting area near the fireplace, sunroom with swing-bench, dining table with 4 chairs, spa area with jetted tub & kitchenette w/ under-counter fridge & microwave (NO STOVE).
Our manicured oak trees give this space a magical feel & look out for deer during your stay, they love roaming the property!
Guest access
As you slowly drive up the hill onto our street, you will first encounter our neighbors house on your left. Right after you will enter our driveway and park your car on the right side near the redwood and olive tree.
You have private access to the guest retreat that is part of our main house.
You’ll enter the yard on the left side of the garage, through the gate. Then you’ll meet a set of stairs on your right, they lead you up the deck (that is yours to use) and to the locked sliding door, which forms the entry to the retreat.
Please watch your steps as you enter the yard and go up the deck. 18 steps up the stairs will take you to your private space to enjoy for the night, weekend or week. (not wheelchair accessible)
Other things to note
Our guest retreat is NOT childproofed. There are 18 sets of stairs to the entry, so also NOT wheelchair accessible. Although we love pets, the room is NOT dog friendly. Please leave your 4-footed friend home or look for a dog-friendly listing in the area.
MONTEREY BAY AQUARIUM GUEST PASSES AVAILABLE, UPON REQUEST, FOR 2+ NIGHTS STAY
Monterey County VR license no: VR240003. Like all hotels and short term rentals in the county, we are required to have you sign a guest rental contract upon arrival. It states your booking information and license plate no. of the car that you will use during your stay. This information is only shared with authorities upon request e.g. with first responders in case of an emergency.
