Other Things to Note
Please note we have children in the neighborhood. As well my mother has a small daycare next door and the children have run of our front yard. If you are visiting us during the warmer months you will likely hear the children laughing and playing at some point during your stay :)
As for us, your hosts, we live in the upstairs suite. While we do our best to be quiet, the house is not sound proof. Please be aware that during your stay you will hear us "living" upstairs :)
No smoking. No pets.
Please wash and put away all dishes before checkout.
Please take compost, recycling and garbage out to the appropriate bins
Compost is at the back and is shared with the neighbors. It’s on their property and sits by the chain link fence. It’s the bigger bin with a green lid
Garbage is at the back of the house, under our back stairs. Please use the large square grey bin. Recycling is outside your entrance door.
Checkout is 11am unless other arrangements have been made.
Please inquire if you need a later checkout time.
Let us know when you are departing. If we are not here when you leave, please lock the door and slip the key through the front door mail slot.
We had a wonderful time staying at Jenny's apt. It was conveniently located just out of downtown, with easy parking and quick access to everything we wanted to see/eat. The unit is spacious, clean and comfortably appointed with beautiful artwork and comfy furniture. Jenny went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. We will definitely be going back.
This was a fabulous place! Every detail was looked after, everything provided to have a great stay, very comfortable ... and there is a (free) place to park your car in front of the house, that is a true luxury in Vancouver!
We stayed just for the night in Jenny's 2 BDR. We liked that the neighborhood was close to restaurants and shopping. Parking was a breeze. The apartment was clean and spacious.
It's not super fancy but Jenny does a great job of making sure you have everything you need: lots of clean linens, coffee, a corkscrew, a comfy couch, wifi and bathroom products.
She made sure to put fresh cream in the fridge which was a really nice touch.
Environment is very good. It is little far form airport. But it is close to downtown. The host are really nice. We really enjoy stay in this house. Feels like home everyday. Everything is very clean. We love it for sure!
We had a great stay in Vancouver! The place was very cosy and homely and Jenny was a great host. Very responsive and even left us a fresh bun on arrival. Easy check in and basics such as tea and coffee all provided. We did at times find it a little noisy at night and public transport/taxis are required to comfortably get to downtown. We would definitely stay here again though.
Jenny was very informative and communicative throughout the whole process advising us on how to get to her apartment and how to get in once we arrived. We were provided with tea and scones on our arrival.
Apartment was exactly as described and a perfect last stay for our trip to Canada. The apartment was spotless and extremely homely and comfortable.
Location was a little bit out from downtown Vancouver but easy to get to and other great areas around us.
Jenny was very welcoming and helpful. When we arrived there was a nice treat laid out for us. We stayed for four nights and are family of five including three children. The apartment was comfortable, furnished with care and large enough to fit us all in. The apartment is close to Main Street where there are plenty of busses to take you downtown and of course a number of nice restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed our stay in Vancouver.
