We typically have a lock box on the door for easy access to the suite but will be by to check on you, typically on your first day of arrival. We are always available by phone or text.

Other things to note

Please note we have children in the neighborhood. As well my mother has a small daycare next door and the children have run of our front yard. If you are visiting us during the warmer months you will likely hear the children laughing and playing at some point during your stay :)

As for us, your hosts, we live in the upstairs suite. While we do our best to be quiet, the house is not totally sound proof. Please be aware that during your stay you will hear us "living" upstairs :)

Jenny was very helpful and the place was exactly as advertised. Located in a nice, quiet neighborhood close driving distance to downtown and even walking to Main Street for Gelato or Coffee. We were glad to have access to a washer/dryer and she extended the time so we could get two loads done. As other reviews have noted, it's a small two story house and you do hear noises from them walking around on the floor above, but nothing excessive to worry about. All in all, a perfect place for us to stopover in Vancouver.

Very accurate description: spacious, full kitchen, tastefully decorated and in a great neighborhood with easy access to transit. Hosts were accessible for any questions we had. (And had coffee and chocolates waiting for us.) As noted, you will hear some "living" noises upstairs, but never at odd hours in our case. Overall, a really good experience.

Jenny was a great host. The beds were super comfy and it was a great location. She recommended some great Chinese delivery and we were even able to do a few loads of laundry. Thanks for a great intro to Vancouver. We will be back.

It was very nice. The neighbor hood was cute. Good location and good coffee shop near by Matchstick XX.

This was my second stay at Jenny's place. The apartment was just as I remembered from my first stay - clean, convenient, and cozy. I love the location, with free parking in a quiet residential neighborhood that's a close drive from downtown. We enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen and the unique Native art in the living room. There was a small issue with some creaking pipes in the heating system during the night, but Jenny responded quickly to my messages about it. I'd gladly stay here again on my next trip to Vancouver.

The location is great! Coffee was provided (big plus). Never met in person but interactions were great and seemed like a very welcoming place. There is a home phone to call for a cab or pizza! Great if you don't have international talk and data.

What a lovely little place. It was well located and easy to find. Some groceries already in the refrigerator and a nice pastry waiting. Jenny was very responsive to our e-mails and was very nice. The bed was super comfortable (I'm picky) and the furniture was great to lounge around on. Would definitely return again.
