Geko is a nice person, other people at his home are very friendly too. I stayed for two weeks at his place, and I didn't have any issue. Subway is very close, just two minutes. Around this area there are many stores and restaurants, but most of them are of very low quality. There are many homeless people around subway, but anyway, this place doesn't look as dangerous. It is not the best part of Brooklyn to live, but it's very close to Manhattan. I liked this experience, and I would stay next time at the same place.
Geko has a great space. Clean, open and filled with good energy. The location is prime and the vibes are great. Helpful host, answers questions and gives suggestions. Def book this spot...you won't want to leave. Gracias, Señor Jones.
Leaving at Geko's was an Excellent expérience.. I recommend everyone thé Geko's place, fun is to max, relax and quietness is to top, everythg is around the corner u just name it!!! Geko himself is the Bossnof Hospitality, that's how I call him at least :-) we ha lots of fun and am defenitely going back there in my next trip.. It's my home!!
The location is super convenient, 3 min from the metro, close to center of Brooklyn. Geko is very nice, flexible and hospitable. I felt he honors guest's space. The room is smaller than what photos look like, but very clean. It's facing to kitchen and living room, so sometime it may be bit noisy but if you are a person who enjoy space sharing with other people you will be fine. I am very much satisfied with my stay.
Geko and Shanti were wonderful hosts. They could not have been friendlier or more hospitable! Their apartment was lovely, too. They got me out of a sticky situation with another host at very short notice and went above and beyond in making me feel welcome and included. Thanks so much guys, will always remember it :)
Geko and Shanti are great hosts. They are very knowledgeable about Brooklyn and NY in general. The immediate area is very quiet and safe. The apartment is conveniently located near the A and C trains and various bus lines. Its also 5 blocks from Bed Stuy YMCA. The space is open and welcoming. The kitchen is very conducive to cooking great meals. The room was comfortable and it was great to have access to a washer/dryer downstairs. Had a great time!

I'm actively involved in the NYC tech startup industry but cut my chops in the video game industry. Currently I work as a freelance programmer and manage our listings on Air B'n'b. My two housemates are DJs / producers active in in both the local and international tropical bass scenes. We love to go out and explore all the culture/nightlife NYC has to offer!
