Geko has a great space. Clean, open and filled with good energy. The location is prime and the vibes are great. Helpful host, answers questions and gives suggestions. Def book this spot...you won't want to leave. Gracias, Señor Jones.
Leaving at Geko's was an Excellent expérience.. I recommend everyone thé Geko's place, fun is to max, relax and quietness is to top, everythg is around the corner u just name it!!! Geko himself is the Bossnof Hospitality, that's how I call him at least :-) we ha lots of fun and am defenitely going back there in my next trip.. It's my home!!
The location is super convenient, 3 min from the metro, close to center of Brooklyn. Geko is very nice, flexible and hospitable. I felt he honors guest's space. The room is smaller than what photos look like, but very clean. It's facing to kitchen and living room, so sometime it may be bit noisy but if you are a person who enjoy space sharing with other people you will be fine. I am very much satisfied with my stay.
Geko and Shanti were wonderful hosts. They could not have been friendlier or more hospitable! Their apartment was lovely, too. They got me out of a sticky situation with another host at very short notice and went above and beyond in making me feel welcome and included. Thanks so much guys, will always remember it :)
Geko and Shanti are great hosts. They are very knowledgeable about Brooklyn and NY in general. The immediate area is very quiet and safe. The apartment is conveniently located near the A and C trains and various bus lines. Its also 5 blocks from Bed Stuy YMCA. The space is open and welcoming. The kitchen is very conducive to cooking great meals. The room was comfortable and it was great to have access to a washer/dryer downstairs. Had a great time!
I felt immediately at home at Geko's and rested well. Clean bathroom (and that's by female standards!) and well equipped kitchen. It's definitely going to become by AirBnB spot of choice in Brooklyn!
My stay at Geko's house was fantastic. I had initially planned to stay only a night and move on to another arrangement, but the accommodations and hospitality were so exceptional and the price was affordable that I decided to stay for two more days.
Geko's house has a spacious living room, ample sized kitchen, a clean bathroom and a good guest room. There were many guides available to help travelers around the city and Geko was always available and patient when answering my questions. Geko's housemate was also very nice. We got along great and it was a very comfortable situation. At late hours the house was quiet and a good place to rest in.
Geko's house is in a good location too - a short distance from downtown brooklyn and a quick train ride into Manhattan. I was able to easily hit all the spots I wanted to see.
Overall, I would say that this house is worth staying in for the convenience, hospitality, and general cleanliness.
We stayed one week at Geko's place. It's very well located, close from two subway stations and you can reach Manhattan in 15 minutes.
However, the bathroom was extremely dirty. Then, it was so hot in the bedroom than we had to sleep every day with the window opened (in December). Moreover, one night, Geko made a party at his appartment so we couldn't sleep before 3:00am.
I think that Geko should be more welcoming and be careful when he welcomes guests at his place, especially when guests stay more than one night.
Raquel was very nice and welcoming. Her apartment was conveniently located near a Subway stop, although the neighborhood may not be for everyone. The aparment itself was nice, and Raquel has lots of guides and info available in the room, which I thought was a nice touch. The bathroom, however, wasn't very clean. This really didn't sit well with me, and if I had planned on staying more than one night, I would have asked that it be cleaned or else found other accommodations.
