  • Tarra was a very helpful and friendly host. She agreed to meet me the day before my parents arrived in town, to show me the apartment and hand over the keys.

The apartment has a separate entrance to the room, so there is a reasonable amount of privacy and independence. The room is also quite spacious compared to regular NYC apartments so it's comfortable for 2 people.

The apt is very well located close to a number of cool restaurants and bars, and just a few minutes walk to the Lorimer or Bedford subway stations, so getting the folks around was easy.

  • We had a great time staying at Tarras. The location is perfect, right in the center of Williamsburg with easy access to the subway.

Tarra was very accommodating and gave us a list of local restaurants and bars to try. Would definitely stay here again!

  • Apartment was everything Tarra described. Great location and she was very easy to get along with. She had several good bar ideas and was overall friendly. If youre looking for a great location in a great neighbor hood then this is the place. She also played us some music from her band and she is quite talented.

  • The apartment is well located in the lovely neightborhood of Willamsburg, at 3 min from a subway station driving you in the center of Manhattan. However, if you are afraid by dirt, don't chose this room. We slept in the same sheets than the previous guests. Also, if your searching for a contact with a New Yorker, go somewhere else. We didn't see Tarra at all. She does't even say Hello.

  • excellent place to stay! Thanks for everything tarra!

  • Tara was really flexible on our check in and out time. She sent me an email with LOADS of ideas and bars etc around the area which was super helpful.
We had trouble with our key, and she helpfully called a locksmith to have a look at it immediately, and upon finding cigarette burns and stains on the sheets from the previous guests, she replaced the sheets the same day and bought as cupcakes as an apology. Other than assisting us coming home a few pounds heavier, she was a great host!

  • Got in late on a Wednesday night. Tara was super cool with an awkward arrival time and took a sec to show us the room and the neighborhood. The room was big and comfortable, with air conditioning and a big closet/wardrobe. Everything was amazing and the price couldn't be beat. Super convenient neighborhood with easy access to the subway to Manhattan and Queens. I dunno what else to say. I had a great time.

  • The room was spacious and clean and in an unbeatable Williamsburg location - perfect for nightlife, restaurants and bars and great for access to Manhattan. Tarra was a really good host and her detailed e-mail about local places to go out and visit was enough to keep us busy for most of our trip - far more than you'd get from any guide book. Would definitely recommend it and definitely stay again.

  • The room is very nice, the location is perfect, really close to Bedford Ave and all the shops and cafés and bars around that area. One subway stop to Manhattan makes it really easy to go visit NYCs tourist attractions.
Tarra is a great host, very flexible and friendly. I did not see her much, but that was because I ran around the city until late at night.
    Very nice experience!

  • Tarra is an awesome host. She left a little three page list of her favorite bars and vegan-friendly restaurants AND vegan peanut butter cups on the bedside table because I told her I’m vegan. The room is spacious and in a super location just a short walk from the L train. I stayed for a week but only to sleep and shower because hello, there’s so much to do in NYC! Recommended for social creatures. I'm a night owl and I never had to worry about disturbing her.

About
I'm from the jersey shore, been living in New York City for 5 years. I'm a NYU alumni, currently work at a venue is the neighborhood, book local shows an am a musician. I love eating out and I draw, paint, and make video art in my spare time. I'm super friendly and can give a lot of different recommendations for eating & drinking in the area. I tend to be more of a night owl and sleep late due to my job. I'm super easy going and love hosting on airbnb.
