About this listing
This is a main guest room on the second Fl in a town house, it is located in the university city, friendly and quiet neighborhood.
Several bedrooms are available in my house, great location!
Italian, American, Indian, Thai, Japanese, Chinese and French restaurants around! ( Pls check in with the guide book which on the right corner of this page)
There are some galleries, sweet and cute bakeries, bars nearby!
This is a cozy, bright and airy room in University City. Comfortable and neat bedroom on the second floor. Brand new hardwood flooring and refresh finished room, which is really lovely and clean!
If you come to Philly with dear someone, just live in my cozy and elegant guest room on the second floor. A queen size bed just wait for your coming. ( The queen size mattress with the medium-range firmness, the bath room is 3 steps away from your room.)
Also, there are another two bed rooms in my house, same location:
Lynn and Syd are busy, sometimes absent, but nothing important than you have good stay here. It may have other guests in the rooms, please keep the place relatively quiet.
Interaction with Guests
If we are at home, we are going to welcome you in person; if not, after you make the reservation, you gonna receive a check in msg which includes so many details you might need.
It is not the center of the university city, and also I won't say this is a fancy top level neighborhood. My neighbors are friendly, most of them are long term house owners, newly moved in scholars and college students.
There is a Police station across the street and the area is patrolled by guards of University City.
Though I cannot say it's the center of university city, just look at how convenient it is!
Only 5 mins walking to the 40-market Street subway. 15 mins walking to 30-market amtrak train station. 5 mins walking to the University of Drexel, 10 mins walking to Upenn, 15 mins walking to HUP! 20 Mins walking to Art Museum! If you wanna go to center city, just 5mins walking plus 8 mins subway time!

I highly don't recommend this place. It is in the ghetto and there is no air conditioning. I've never had issues with previous owners but the owner was very uptight. Very hard to sleep in a place with no a/c
The room was very nice and very clean, in a beautiful house. We were gone all day and - sadly - didn't really have a chance to interact with our hosts, but they went above and beyond to make us feel like home. I highly recommend them.
Lynn extended me a room at the last minute even though I was arriving very late due to cancelled fights. For that I am truly appreciative. She has a spacious room and private bath with ample dresser & closet space to unpack your thinks. There are also enough outlets to recharge your gadgets.
Lynn did a great job communicating and she has a well organized set of instructions which I have come to appreciate.
She also went out of her way to provide me an iron to press my clothes prior to a business meeting I had that morning. I think Lynn is a great host and recommend you take advantage of her offering.
It was a great stay. Room is clean and comfortable. Lynn and Sid were extremely welcoming.
Perfect - the host are not at home during my stay but it was a good experience. There is two others couple in the house. Lynn was very reactive to answer ... I stayed just one night.
The bed was very confortable. The house is clean (private room and bathroom too)
It's a good place to stay in Philly not too far of the Town center (10$ by cab/ uber).
I keep in my mind this adress if I need to come back in Philly ;)
Thank you !

As a host:
Welcome to stay!
There are some vacancy rooms with the convenient location. I think it's a good idea to offer them for the people who really need.
My families don't make much noise and we are not party animal. Hope you are the ones who really trustful, neat and won't disturb us either.
How can we tell you how much we love our home and how lovely it is! Hope you will like it too and enjoy your trip when you stay here!
As a traveler:
My husband and I are enthusiastic travelers. My family has changed several cities and countries during the last 10 years. Even after we got married,we still enjoy to explore new places. When we are travelling, BNB seems attractive and interesting----great location, ffordable, clean, more comfortable and the most important is just like at home.
Life to us is kind of mystic travels, sometimes you have no choice but accept the challenges.
Keeping the room clean and organized wherever we are! :D
