My daughter and I were visiting Homewood end of April to check out her wedding venue - West Shore Cafe. The location of the guesthouse was perfect and easy to find. The place looks like the photos, was clean and well stocked, except for bath towels. Being this was only my second Airbrb experience, I wasn't sure what to expect. We asked for bath towels and Shelley explained they typically don't provide bath or beach towels but would leave us some, which she promptly did. It's very rustic, much what you'd expect in a lodgy type setting, but very homey. One of the beds is sectioned off from the great room, which offers privacy should even 2 couples stay. It was perfect for the two of us. There wound up being a snow storm which shut down the power for a few hours but we survived. There's no wi fi but for those not caring about it, it wasn't a big deal - just used my own data, although not ideal, was fine. I'm sure in the summer months, this place would be really great as it's walking distance to Chambers Landing, a nearby bar. Although we didn't meet our hosts, they were very accommodating. It was a great weekend and the homey setting was perfect for mother/daughter bonding.
Great place very near the waters edge.
Cabin was clean and prepared for our arrival.
Host communicated well.
