Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
Private charmer nestled among the trees. Less than 5 minutes to Doe Mountain Recreation, ride from here to there, 20 min to Watauga Lake, 25 min to Damascus, VA featuring the Virginia Creeper Trail, 35 min to Boone, NC, 55 minutes to Bristol Motors speedway. ATV/RV/Boat parking next to cabin.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the new back porch. Kitchen fully equipped. Queen bedroom and king floor mattress in loft. Hang out by the fire pit at night and take in the sunrise from the front porch swing.

The space
Rustic cabin, tucked away and surrounded by regenerative forest. There is a covered front porch with a swing. Upon entering you'll find a living space featuring a leather love seat and two chairs. High speed internet allows for your work or other needs, and the framed art on the wall is actually a smart TV, if that's your thing.

The kitchen has an RV gas range and oven, as well as the cutest refrigerator and microwave this side of the Mississippi. A simple electric burner is available as well. Coffee is important to us, so we have you covered - a coffee pot, filter, cream, sugar, tea kettle, coffee grinder can meet your java needs; as well as a french press if that's your thing. The music corner features a record player and plenty of old time records to choose from.

Enjoy the antique table while sharing a meal, playing games, or as a work space.

The cabin has one bedroom with a queen size bed and fresh linens. However, a rolling library ladder leads to a magical loft furnished with a king mattress on the floor, a great place for older kids or to cuddle up and read by the windows.

The bathroom is equipped with fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair dryer. The back porch overlooks a small holler full of wildlife and biodiversity. When the leaves are bare, you can view wildlife drinking from the spring creek that meanders through the property. When the leaves are full, you're likely to encounter a Sasquatch; although normally these sightings are merely a squirrel, whitetail deer, black bear, bobcat, or house cat.... barring the free range chicken.

We allow 1-2 house trained, well behaved pups with advance notice and prior approval. Please clean up dog waste. There is an additional $50 pet fee per pet. Pets not allowed to be left unattended. No cats allowed.

Hey there, Im Amber. I work for a non-profit and keep my hands on all the things going on on our farm in the making. My husband and I are loving living in East TN. We are learning and having fun living out our farm holler dreams. We enjoy growing things, playing with chickens, food, music and art.
