Nice Flat in the middle of burstling Bairro Alto. Excellent communication with Paolo who was very helpful and met us personally for key handover. He gave us plenty of useful adresses and good ideas for this wonderful city. We had a cleaning problem in the bathromm that Paolo was very eager to resolve. Excellent host, very good location close to tons of fine food and just a short walk from the center of the old town. Flat is exactly as shown in the pix, not to big but everything on board. As other guests mentionned before there is a music academy right across the street but this is rather a distraction than a nuisance. We enjoyed Bach and Pachelbel on strings, superb bel canto and choir repetitions and even tuba and horn sessions. Great stuff for melomaniacs. What could really be a nuisance instead is the Bar on the other side of the street, which is in fact the central academic hub for myriads of Erasmus students from all over Europe. So, prepare to get back late after 3 o'clock on saturdays or close the window...or share the philosphic discussions and the techno beats :-)
One real great feature of the flat: it comes with a mobile wifi, means you can take the small connecting device with you all around the town and thus enjoy free wifi from the Castle to Sintra!
Positive experience, great host, Obrigado, Paolo.
L'appart est très bien situé, près du métro et du tram. Il est confortable et très bien équipé.
Paulo a été très disponible à notre arrivée. Il nous a donné de très bonnes adresses (de restos entre autres).
Le quartier est très animé...

Paulo was very helpful to get us settled in the flat and provide us with local recommendations. Looking forward to visiting Lisbon again soon!
Marta & Paulo were fantastic hosts - helpful, flexible and very friendly. Definitely recommend this place to stay. Great location, although the apartment is rather small and noisy at the weekend. Would book again here.
