Beautifully restored early 1900s farmhouse in the heart of old Overland Park. Enjoy the peaceful park-like surroundings from the deck or cozy up in the sun bathed reading nook, and only 10 mins walking distance to the lively Downtown Overland Park restaurants, shops, and amazing Farmers Market. Upstairs suite includes giant walk in shower. 2 bedrooms on the main level along with another full bathroom with a tub. Owners live next door, so if you need anything we are just a few steps away!

The space
The home is located in a quiet suburb, on 1 acre, in a peaceful setting. There is a fire pit, gathering space on the deck and in the yard, plenty of space to play games and enjoy the outdoors, a tree swing, patio dining table with grill, and deck with seating. We get plenty of wildlife, so you might see deer, foxes, hawks, and birds of all kinds. The neighborhood is safe and quiet.

Nearby you can walk to Downtown OP, which is a quaint arts district with restaurants and coffee shops.

Three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one bath is upstairs attached to a master suite) and a cozy sunroom off of the living room offer plenty of space to spread out. Cozy kitchen with newer appliances and everything you would need to cook and prepare meals. Coffee maker with coffee, spices, oils, napkins, paper towels and a few dry goods all provided. We source a lot of things locally and take pride in our local lavender hand soap (sourced from a local soap company and lavender farm), dish soap and laundry detergent all provided and locally sourced.

Are you on a retreat or girls trip, and looking for a yoga class? As a certified yoga instructor I also teach yoga out on the lawn for private parties and can host yoga classes for your group! Inquire in your message if you are interested in adding a yoga class to your stay.

The home is older with a lot of history, but is updated and cozy. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, just a short walk to lively and growing Downtown Overland Park. There is a park and public pool just around the corner from the house for kiddos to play. Downtown Overland Park offers several restaurants, coffee shops, and a variety of antique stores and shops to stroll through! The house is very conveniently located near I-35/I-69 highways. Just a short drive to Downtown Kansas City, The Plaza, Prairie Fire, Town Center, and all that KC has to offer. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping within a short distance to accommodate your stay!
