This is a residential area and people love the tranquillity of this part of town. We appreciate when you respect this, mainly by being quiet between 11pm and 7am.
These romantic apartments from the 1930s have wooden floors. It is therefore requested that you take off your shoes in the evenings and nights, just to respect the neighbours' privacy.
The apartment was on the third floor and was as described. It was clean and tidy and bright. It was close (but not too close) to trams and buses. There were shops and cafes nearby and Erasmus Park which was pleasant to walk in. Although not there in person our host Evert made us very welcome.
A bright, clean, and lovely home with everything we needed during our short trip to Amsterdam. It's a little bit outside the city center, but we enjoyed the residential feel and there were plenty of great shops and food options in the area. It was also very accessible and close to public transportation options. Evert was extremely responsive and provided a great and thorough guide with lots of resources for exploring the area.
The only thing to note is that the bed is actually two smaller beds pushed together. I originally thought it was one larger bed, but it might be helpful to know. Also, I wasn't prepared for Mosquitos but did get several bites during my stay, so bring some bug repellent or be careful with open windows.
Overall, would highly recommend this place!
Our family of 3 was quite comfortable in this aptly named flat. It is indeed bright.clean and airy! We appreciated that our host was attentive and helpful before and during our stay. We like the flat which is in a quiet neighborhood which is five minutes walk to a nice park, the tram/bus stop, grocery store and bike rental place (bring lots of cash and photo ID for deposit). Kitchen was nice with everything needed except a microwave oven. A reminder that most Amsterdam apartment buildings have winding, narrow staircases and this flat is on the third floor. Also, the bathroom was fine for us but tall/large people might feel a little cramped. We were happy at the Bright Apartment and would stay here again!
Our caretaker Jack was there when we arrived and he made us feel very welcome. The airbnb description is on the spot, and everything was in place. The apartment has all you need for a nice and comfortable stay. The neighbourhood is very quiet, and the big surprise - Erasmuspark is only a block away! The bus stop and supermarket are only a ten minute walk, or less, away. Very convenient for a tourist. We had a lovely stay at the Bright apartment.
Thank you Evert, for your constant assistance throughout the stay.

We had an amazing time both apartments. Location is great and Evert is a wonderful host! Excellent amenities, very comfy furniture and a great ambiance.
I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to have a nice quiet stay in Amsterdam,.
Both Apartments are really close to the tram and the city centre.
Evert was a great host, attentive to our need.
The Bright Apartment was a simply beautiful place to stay. Exactly as portrayed in the pictures, the apartment was spacious, bright, clean, beautifully furnished, and included all the necessary amenities for a comfortable visit. The apartment was set in a peaceful, leafy residential area, and close to a scenic park and canal. Although the city centre is easy enough to get to with a decent map, I would recommend hiring bikes when staying in this apartment - it allows for a shorter journey and more exploring of the city. Though I did not meet Evert personally during my stay, he maintained contact, was easy to reach and was very helpful. All in all - a great trip!
Evert was a delightful host. He was helpful and responsive to any of our needs. The apartment was as described, clean and quaint. We didn't spend a lot of time in the area, however it was a safe neighborhood. We would definitely go back.
