Enjoy a recently renovated studio apartment style cottage in Alton Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee! Cottage is air conditioned, has a 3/4 bathroom, and has a full range of kitchen appliances. Living/bedroom area has a bunked queen bed and pullout queen, which can sleep up to 6 adults, but 4 or less is recommended. Cottage provides great views of the bay, as well as access to a pair of docks and raised beach across the street. A great place for a couple or a group of friends to escape reality!

The space
The guests have the entire studio cottage to themselves! It is about 300 square feet and has a bunch of amenities including A/C and heat, a kitchen, and a 3/4 bathroom. The living area doubles as the bedroom (it is a studio) so there is not a ton of privacy , but the the bathroom is plenty big enough to get dressed/changed in!

A friendly neighborhood with a good mix of fellow renters and full time residents. The neighborhood consists of a bunch of older cottages that have a classic summer vacation vibe to them. Walking distance to the local bars and restaurants on the bay. And of course, you have Lake Winnipesaukee right there!

During your stay

There are two cottages on the property owned by the hosts. The smaller cottage is the one you will be staying in. The larger one is directly in front. One of the hosts (Joe) lives there full time with another full time renter. The other host (Anthony) manages the account and is around in town basically every weekend, but lives/works in southern NH during the week. Both of us are available via text anytime you have questions (within reason), and if you are there on a weekend, you may see us around the property or down on the dock
