David was great! He gave us a map and showed us a layout of the city. Location of the apartment was great as well, right next to a piazza but quiet at night at the same time. Apartment was very clean and everything worked great.
Fantastic apartment, everything was absolutely above expectation. David was lovely and extremely helpful, showed us around and gave excellent recommendations. The apartment was comfortable, clean and great value. Very happy!
The perfect airbnb experience!
David was charming and so welcoming to us, and ensured we had everything we needed. He also pointed out all the great local restaurants and the sites we should see.
The apartment was very good, a lot bigger than we expected and with everything we needed. It was also well-furnished, clean and had good air-conditioning.
We highly recommend David's place, and would definitely stay there again!
We had a great time in David's apartment. He was super helpful with information when he met us there and gave great suggestions for wonderful cafes/restaurants.
The apartment was lovely, clean, well looked after and in an awesome location (quite close to the Ponte Vecchio). The sofa bed was very comfy too!
We were very thankful for the air conditioner!!
Our family had a wonderful vacation in Florence, thanks to David. His apartment is very nice, clean, and included all the amenities we wanted. He provided tips and good information that made our visit that much more memorable.
The Art Apartment in Santo Spiritu is hands-down one of the best air bnb's we've ever stayed in. From the amazing location (almost directly across from the main square of Santo Spiritu-- and yet due to the updated and solid windows, virtually silent from street noise), the gorgoeus and well-appointed apartment, and David's wonderfully courteous and amicable check-in, our experience was top-notch.
The building itself is a grand old dame that's been completely retrofitted and modernized for optimal liveability. The bed, while not luxury, was solid and comfortable (and thank goodness, a real bed, not another sofa bed). The kitchen had just enough to have sweet little breakfasts each morning before venturing out (thank you, awesome little espresso maker), and the bathroom was fantastic. (Bonus points for the great rainshower).
David is a Florentine treasure! Gracious, flexible, communictive, and incredibly informative, he pre-emptively answered any questions we might have, and steered us towards the best food we ate in Florence (and most of Italy). He has hospitality down to an art. (Speaking of art, the art in the apartment is the work of his wife, who is a wonderful talent-- David, can we buy a piece of her work?)
You won't go wrong booking the art apartment. It's that good.
