My one-bedroom apartment in Edgewater is a short walk to the beach and Andersonville, and just a few blocks from the el and a handful of buses. A pull-out couch in the living room means that 4 people can stay comfortably.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Janet's apartment. It is in a great location; close to public transportation and good restaurants. Her expectations were clear and her place was neat and tidy. I definitely would consider staying again if I come back to Chicago.

Janet a very hospitable and communicative. Her space is stylish and neat with lots of great books, making it very cozy. The Edgewater neighborhood felt safe enough and there were restaurants and bars to go to. You could get to the bus quicker but I'd always just take the red lin…

Delightful eclectic apartment, short walk to the "L"-- everything we were looking for! Enjoyed French press coffee on the sweet little red and white kitchen, with beautiful light from the big windows. Cozy and homey.

I'm in my early 30s and love to travel, especially around the US. In new cities I like to visit bookstores, coffee shops, presidential museums, and city parks. If you stay at my place I'll do my best to make sure you feel welcome and informed.

I'm a 5-10 minute walk to the red line of the el train, which will get you downtown in about 30 minutes. I'm also within a few blocks of several buses. If you're coming into town for a specific reason…
