Fantastic apartment for couples

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Rådmandsgade, Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark 2200, Denmark

The Space

Why stay in the center of Copenhagen? It's expensive and boring!
Nørrebro has got it all!

51 m2 charming, romantic-get-away, colorful 1 bedroom apartment with outside courtyard (barbeque, hang out) and washing machine and dryer, and just excellent opportunities to base-jump the rest of Copenhagen.

Placed in Nørrebro, the most vivid part of town, it is only 5-10 min. in biking range of the city centre (bikes can be rented 200 meters from the apartment) and about 15 min. from "Christania", the pearl of Copenhagen.

Rådmandsgade (the street) has succeeded with combining the best from the old-Copenhagen and the new.
The apartment is placed 150m from the famous old pub "Café Vikingen" which contains, some say, the real heart of Denmark within its wood-paneled walls, and with more than 40 different kind of beers (20 danish microbrews) and 1900-century atmosphere it is just a great place to spend evenings or afternoons. The owner, Jane, has herself become an institution at Nørrebro with different social events for drunkards and the homeless! Bonus-info: Vikingen made it to top-3 in New York Times guide to Copenhagen.

Within walking distance there are two green parks (check the guide on the profile)

The neighborhood has a great variety of places to eat, with indian, thai, italian, döner and traditional dansih kitchens at walking range.
Rewarded as the best new nightclub in town 2011 , "Drone" is just 200 metres from the apartment, and is open from wednesday night to sunday morning.

Bikes can be rented, otherwise great public transport connections (bus, train) to the coast, other parts of town and the city centre.

The apartment will be entirely yours.

  • I can highly recommend Peter´s appartment! It´s nice, clean, newly furnished, and there´s everything you need for your stay in Copenhagen (towels etc...)
We have been in Peter´s flat for three nights and had an awesome time. We only met Peter shortly, but he seamed to be a nice person! He has always answered my questions immediately.
The location of the flat is pretty good if you want to visit Copenhagen. It´s in Norrebro, a young and vibrant part of the city. Center is also just about 10 min. by bus.
    We enjoyed it!

  • I stayed for up to a week at Peter's beautiful, apartment. Very bright and airy, clean, virtually dust-free, safe, quiet, and conveniently located near public transportation and plenty of shops in Nørrebro. Beautiful, finished hardwood floors (no splinters)! The kitchen was efficient with everything I needed to make meals. Plenty of working outlets too!

Oh! And the bed was super comfortable! It was nice to wake up with the sun shining down on me, as the bed is next to the window (no cold drafts from it). Or, I could easily pull down the shades which blocked out plenty of light to allow me to sleep in. I would definitely visit again!

  • We stayed one week at Peter's apartment. Everything was as described and as expected. The apartment was very clean and everything we needed was there. The location was good - close to public transportation and to stores and restaurants, but on a quiet street. Peter was very friendly and helpfull. I would highly recommend his apartment.

  • Peter's apartment is very nice, quite perfect for a single person or a couple. It's in an ideal location, very close to the city centre and in a great location in Nørrebro, surrounded by things to do. Peter was friendly and helpful, and we were very happy and satisfied with the overall experience.

  • Peter goes out of his way to make his place welcoming for guests with all the amenities you'd need for an authentic 'live like a local' experience. The well-worn neighbourhood is close enough to downtown to walk, bike or bus, but far enough away that you feel like you're away from the touristy part of town. Heads up: lots of major construction projects happening throughout the city that can impact getting around, but such is life in a busy, evolving metropolis.

  • We spent 5 days at Peter's apartment and thought it was fabulous. The location in Nørrebro is great. It's very easy to get into the centre of Copenhagen, and the neighbourhood has tons of quality/interesting food choices, fun bars/cafes and feels authentic vs. touristy. We rented bikes nearby which is the best way to get around. Peter was very nice, and waited for us when our flight was late and made us feel instantly at home. His apartment is extremely clean and has everything you could possibly need. We would totally stay at Peter's again!

  • Nice apartment..well decorated with all sorts of equipment. Love the bed by window side and the tv with projector.

Can't meet Peter in person as he is out of town. Peter's brother Jesper was really nice and handed us the keys. He even gave us a ride to the nearest metro when we went to the airport.

Both Peter and Jesper are easy to communicate with and super friendly.

    Would definitely recommend!

  • Fantastic apartment and fantastic host.
My parents stayed there for one week and they enjoyed 100% the apartment, and the location.
Completely furnished and comfortable and cozy.
Peter was super gentle, and welcoming.
If my parents will come back, they will definitely stay again at peters's house!

  • Just back from a fantastic weekend in Copenhagen. Peter's flat was perfect for the two of us for a few days to use as a base to explore. The flat is small but perfectly formed - really well thought out and tastefully decorated, it looks great. There's a modern bathroom with a hot shower and everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. Peter met us briefly when we arrived and was a really nice guy - helped explain the way the buses worked and how to get around and pointed us in the direction of the Vikingen Cafe (definitely worth a visit) Norrebro is a really cool area, much more interesting than staying in the centre of town. The only bad bit of our weekend was having to leave...

My name is Peter, I am 29 years old and I am originally from Jutland, Denmark. I work as a strategic purchaser for a large company which often brings me on business travels to especially Asia and Eastern Europe. I am a dedicated fan of veteran American cars and have imported many to Denmark during the last couple of years. I also enjoy riding my classic motorcycle. I am a member of a beer brewer guild, and enjoy good music, food and wine. Which are some of the reasons why I live on Nørrebro because the area fulfills theseinterests. I´m looking forward to be hearing from you.
