About this listing
Why stay in the center of Copenhagen? It's expensive and boring!
Nørrebro has got it all!
51 m2 charming, romantic-get-away, colorful 1 bedroom apartment with outside courtyard (barbeque, hang out) and washing machine and dryer, and just excellent opportunities to base-jump the rest of Copenhagen.
Placed in Nørrebro, the most vivid part of town, it is only 5-10 min. in biking range of the city centre (bikes can be rented 200 meters from the apartment) and about 15 min. from "Christania", the pearl of Copenhagen.
Rådmandsgade (the street) has succeeded with combining the best from the old-Copenhagen and the new.
The apartment is placed 150m from the famous old pub "Café Vikingen" which contains, some say, the real heart of Denmark within its wood-paneled walls, and with more than 40 different kind of beers (20 danish microbrews) and 1900-century atmosphere it is just a great place to spend evenings or afternoons. The owner, Jane, has herself become an institution at Nørrebro with different social events for drunkards and the homeless! Bonus-info: Vikingen made it to top-3 in New York Times guide to Copenhagen.
Within walking distance there are two green parks (check the guide on the profile)
The neighborhood has a great variety of places to eat, with indian, thai, italian, döner and traditional dansih kitchens at walking range.
Rewarded as the best new nightclub in town 2011 , "Drone" is just 200 metres from the apartment, and is open from wednesday night to sunday morning.
Bikes can be rented, otherwise great public transport connections (bus, train) to the coast, other parts of town and the city centre.
The apartment will be entirely yours.
The apartment has two rooms, but it is possible to stay three persons (or four, depending on comfort). There is a double-bed in the bedroom and a couch in the "livingroom", but there is space on the floor for a madras etc. if we move the table. The rooms are divided but there is not a closing door to the living room. Then there is a kitchen with great options for self-cooking and a bathroom with toilet and shower.
Treat her well!
The music has to be moderate after midnight and no party hosting!
Peter was a wonderful host, very flexible with checking in, and always available to help when we had questions – thanks again! The apartment was also great, superbly equipped, with great speakers & a projector, all cooking utensils and even a fireplace and plenty of candles. Nørrebro is a beautiful neighbourhood, would stay here again!
Peter's house is very clean and it is also well equipped. We come with a car, it is easy to find a parking space in front of the building. We did enjoy our stay at Peter's house!
We really had a grat tine at Peter's appartment. The neighborhood was central but quiet. The appartment was really clean and comfortable. There was everything we needed.
We can definitely recommend this appartment.
Peter was there when we arrived ready to show us around. We were made to feel very welcome in what I can only presume is his home. We felt very comfortable to make ourselves at home, and the apartment itself was extremely well administrated and very clean. A very pleasant experience for four nights - we didnt want to leave!
We had a wonderful stay in Copenhagen which was made all the better by staying in Peter's apartment. Peter was very accommodating and informative on possible activities around the city. The apartment has everything you'd want as has a unique feel to it. We felt at home very quickly. Norrebro was also an interesting area with plenty going on and felt like great place to experience how locals live in the city. All in all a great stay and highly recommended to others.
Communication with Peter went very well from the start. He was also very flexible with the check-in time since we were driving up there and weren't sure wether we were going to hit some traffic along the way. After showing us around the apartment and handing us the keys we were ready for what proved to be a great stay in the district of Nørrebro. The apartment isn't very big but it's cosey, has all the necessary amenities and proved to be the perfect home base for exploring the city. Having said that you could very well spend 3 days in Nørrebro itself and not get bored. All in all we had a great time there - thanks Peter!
It was a really nice trip to Kopenhagen - our stay at Peter's place was really great! The apartment is very comfy, clean and quiet - but also in a fantastic part of the city. Peter is very friendly and fast in communication - we just can recommend this place to everyone!
Thank you Peter!
