Interaction with Guests
We will meet guest at airport, make sure they are settled in, find out if there is anything else they need; keep in touch by phone or by occasionally dropping in to see how they are doing; let them know they can contact us any time if they have any queries or problems. Or if they want to be left alone that's OK too.
Montserrat is a friendly, mountainous island in the Eastern Caribbean, with an active volcano in the southern portion of the island. Activities include hiking, bird watching, diving, fishing, boat trips around the island, island tours, and visits to the National Trust museum and the volcano observatory.
You can also look for souvenirs in the National Trust gift shop, or the Last Chance gift shop at the airport, and you can sample local cuisine at any of the informal restaurants and bars. There are four festivals during the year, and if your visit coincides with one of these you can also experience a glimpse of local culture
A rental car is highly recommended, which we can arrange if wished. Public transport is irregular and not on any fixed schedule, and does not come up the hill to Manjack. There's parking space at the cottage.

Cathy's Sea View Cottage was everything we hoped for. It is a spacious , clean and well-equipped vacation cottage with an amazing view. We appreciated the host picking us up from the ferry, a very important service for those who have never visited Montserrat. We couldn't have asked for a better, friendlier greeting and a nicer stay at this gem of a cottage in the middle of paradise.
Thank you for making us feel welcome and Ed we looked forward to your visits and the information you shared with us about the island. Our time in Montserrat was wonderful and we hope to return. Wish I was still sitting on your deck looking at the ocean!
This is an amazing rustic self contained unit with a veranda with views to die for. The light in the mornings and the sunsets in the evening as you cast your eye over to the Island of Redonda as you peer through the Mango tree and the banana groves are breath taking. Eddie and Cathy were great hosts and were very attentative hosts right from picking me up at the airport to any questions I had during my stay. This is not a five star villa with a pool but is a very cute rustic bungalo that in my mind is the best value for money on the Island. Close to many restaurants, shops and supermarkets.
I will be back to stay here again!
