The house is located in Bartlett just over the North Conway line close to North Conway village.
You will find a "guest manual" binder in the kitchen which will provide you with information about the house and area.
Please do not bring food into the living room or upstairs.
If you use the sleep sofa, please leave the sheets in front of the basement door and fold the couch back. Fold back the comforter on each bed you use so I will know which beds need the sheets changed. Also, leave all towels/facecloths used in front of basement door. The easier it is for me to clean and prep for the next guest, the less likely I will need to institute a cleaning fee. Thanks for your help!
Enjoy your stay!
p.s. If have any questions call me at (phone number hidden) or Ron at (phone number hidden). I am a teacher so you will not be able to reach me on school days between 6:30 am and 3:00 pm. If you call, text, or email after 7:00pm, you probably will not get a response until the following afternoon but I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Myself and my friends all had a wonderful experience staying at Rosemary's place. It is a lovely house in a extremely convenient location (close to hiking and shopping, but on a quiet street with privacy). Rosemary was prompt and helpful. I would definitely stay at this place again!
This place was perfect for a ski weekend away! The home is adorable, extremely clean, comfortable and in a ideal location. Rosemary is extremely responsive to any questions and the place is exactly how she describes it. Our group had a great experience!
Everything was very clean. Everything that we needed was in the house (blankets, dishes, trash bags, etc.)
I don't have any complains at all and I'd like to repeat next year. There is a gas fireplace downstairs that works great and makes the living room very cozy.
The only thing that could have been better was the comfort of the sofa-bed mattress. But even though, that wouldn't stop me from coming back! Great place to stay, great location. Thank you Rosemary!
Wonderful, clean home in the perfect location. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank You Rosemary.
I reserved this home for a group of five family members to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday. We were very happy with our winter weekend getaway.
The description on the website was accurate - it is indeed a very cozy place, and you can tell that the owner used to live here by the cute decor and well thought out details, from hooks where you need them to reading lamps.
As other reviewers have noted, there were lots of little "extras" that made for an easier stay, particularly in the kitchen and bathroom, from bananas to seasonings to q-tips.
The location is great, too - on a private road set back from other homes, but still very close to the attractions in North Conway, and easily accessible grocery store, skiing and snow shoeing, etc.
Rosemary and Ron were responsive hosts, leaving lights on for us since we were arriving after dark and addressing an issue with the heating system quickly when we contacted them about it (there was a malfunction with the newly installed system that they have since replaced with a better-functioning version). I'd be glad to return to this house if we go back to the White Mountains.
Rosemary's house was perfect, very cozy and welcoming. We used the kitchen a lot, it is really nice, she has it fully stocked with everything you could need. She also provided juice, bagels and eggs upon our arrival, extremely nice! We loved just sitting by the fire and reading. Would absolutely go back here when in the area again.
This house is a perfect get-away for the North Conway area of New Hampshire. It offers the best of both worlds: ready access to local hiking, skiing and shopping but also privacy in your own home tucked away on a hill in the woods. Ideal!
I enjoy both downhill and cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and mountain biking. Ron and I love our brittany spaniel Tory and our golden retriever Orla. We love to travel and take a trip every summer during my school break. I look forward to renting my home and hope that all who stay there find it as warm and welcoming as all my house guests in the past have.
