Spacious 1BR minutes from downtown, LA Convention Center, and USC. in Historic Westlake Neighborhood - 10 minutes from Hollywood. Quiet, front yard filled with beautiful rosebushes and the fenced-in backyard features an orange tree and a covered dinning table. Lots of natural light when the drapes are open, but wonderfully dark when they're drawn. Claw foot tub. Full-length mirror and tons of closet space. Workspace with printer. Huge 60-inch TV with Netflix streaming, Hulu, and (website hidden). New queen size Bed. Also has a fold out Murphy bed and long couch for extra guests. Five excellent Korean restaurants within a 5 minute walk and a great family-owned Cuban restaurant just down the block. Jeho Song's Ping Pong Club is two blocks away and several Korean spas are within walking distance. I recommend Wi Spa on Wilshire. Langer's Deli with the best Reuben sandwich on the West coast is 5 blocks away.
I did not meet Adam personally, but my interactions with him were all very positive. My stay was pleasant and the place was as advertised. This is more than just a bedroom: the two of us had a whole apartment all to ourselves! It also includes an interesting book library, that is an added bonus.
Adam was accommodating with our schedule, made sure we were able to get in the house, and was responsive yet discreet. The location is well positioned to reach several cool spots such as downtown, Koreatown, the LACMA, etc. I would recommend this place to others.
Our stay here was wonderful! Adam made it very easy for us to check in with him a bit late (after a long drive). The place was very clean, warm and inviting. Charming Americana decor blended nicely with the Craftsman-style hardwood of the house. Combined with the LA sunshine and the back patio for our breakfasts, Adam's house was the perfect antidote to the fog of San Francisco and it never failed to lift our spirits.
The only down side might be the parking, which could be difficult to find in the evenings, but hey-- that's Los Angeles for you!
We did not actually meet Adam over the course of our stay as he was out of town, but he still made it very easy for us to get into the apartment and get situated. I will definitely look Adam up next time I need a place to stay in LA!
Adam was very hospitable and the space was charming and even better than listed!
Adam's apartment is FULL of character and humor! All amenities are exactly as described, and the TV is larger than life (with an unlimited supply of netflix)! Adam was a very gracious, accommodating, and flexible host, and the 5 minutes that he stopped by to pick up his helmet were the best 5 minutes of my stay! Great personality and a great apartment! I'll stay here again!
Adam was genial and totally flexible in welcoming me on my schedule. He was full of wit and though we only met briefly, he started my stay at his home on the best foot. His quirky space has the charm of the past with modern conveniences, and was very comfortable. So close to downtown and a quick drive to the arts district—it was smack-dab in-between my two work locations for the weekend. I felt cozy and comfy on my short stay and will certainly return on future overnights in LA!
Adam is very helpful and accomodating. The appartement is very large and confortable. Very great place to stay at L.A !
I am an actor and travel often. I enjoy hosting friends & family and have set up my home to be as accommodating as possible. It is a sunny, quiet spot where I hope others will love spending time.
