100 acres of private trails and creek

Over 100 acres with private hiking and mountain biking trails, a creek, a river deck, and a fire pit.

Tom is a standout host

Guests return year after year, praising Tom's responsiveness and thoughtful local recommendations.
This mountain cabin is secluded and features a spectacular view of See Rocks (a named arch in the Red River Gorge). The living space is open and inviting and centered around a gas fireplace. The cabin is well equipped and ideally situated 15 minutes from the Red River Gorge, Natural Bridge, and the hiking, climbing, and attractions.

Unique to this property are our 5 miles of private hiking trails and the only mountain biking trails in the area.

NOW, we have a HI-SPEED FIBER INTERNET, too!

The space
South Fork Farm boast over 100 acres inside the Daniel Boone National Forest for guest to enjoy. We also offer, as of 2026, the ONLY mountain bike (and hiking trails) in the Red River Gorge. The trails were hand-built for you to enjoy.

Guest access
Guests have access to hiking trails, the River deck and the creek below. Although These are shared spaces that our other guests and our family can use, chances are you will have them to yourself.

Other things to note
The only two flaws I can think to point out are that the satellite wifi is slow at times and the access road is gravel and steep in one section. However, it is accessible in a car, and there is a utility road access that isn’t as steep and can be used if needed.

I’m a self-employed graphic designer from Louisville, KY, who loves the outdoors and outdoor adventures. The Red River Gorge is a beautiful place that we fell in love with, and we want to share our South Fork Farm with you so you can create your own memories in the gorge.
