Relax in tranquility and scenic beauty from the porch, or the hot tub! Surrounded by woods overlooking kleinhans pond, minutes from numerous hiking trails and waterfalls in promised land state park and several charming small towns. Enjoy a dip in one of the nearby lakes or toasty fire on a cold night inside by the wood stove.

The space
The house is situated in a small wooded community just 15 mins from promised land state park with public access to hiking trails, docks, a beach, fishing, canoe and kayak rentals, and waterfalls. It's only a 15 min drive to Lake Wallenpaupack, and close to numerous quaint little towns, state forests, antique stores, local markets, and 30 min from skytop for skiing and snow tubing. Inside you will find a wood burning fire place, Wi-Fi, record player with record collection, board games, fully stocked kitchen, linens and towels, comfortable beds, and modern furniture.

The space is well-suited for a couple, a small family, or up to 5 friends.

My fully-furnished 3-BR cabin is located only 90 miles from Manhattan in the Pocono lake region. Around the area you can find skiing, hiking, tubing, waterfalls, state forests, antique stores, farm stands, and local markets. The area is packed full of soaring trees, boulders, and streams--and also cardinals, turkeys, foxes, and lots of deer who often laze around in my yard : ) A large fire pit, back deck, outdoor seating and grill complete the outdoor experience.

Inside, the fire place fills the cabin with coziness and warmth. Features and amenities include ceiling fans in every room, High Speed Internet/Wi-Fi, projector with roku, record player with record collection, board games/puzzles , fully stocked kitchen, linens and towels, beach towels, lawn chairs, comfortable beds, lots of plants, and modern furniture.

The space is well-suited for a couple, a small family, or a few friends. 2 bedrooms have queen-size beds with closets to store your things, and the 3rd bedroom has 2 bunks with a 3rd bunk reading nook.

Other things to note
we are happy to have your dog join you as you can follow a few extra rules:

-There will be an extra $100 pet fee added so that our cleaning team can spend the extra time needed cleaning up hair, deep cleaning all soft surfaces, and rentIng a steamer for after your stay to help mitigate the dander for any of our future guests with sensitivities

-there is a 20ft dog run lead on the side of the house my the wood pile, please make sure they are leashed if you plan to let them stay outside unattended so they don’t roam the neighboring properties

-you must bring a crate if you’re planning to ever leave them at the house unattended

-You would need to bring a dog bed or extra blankets from home for them to sleep on. I cannot stress enough that we do not want you to use any of our blankets (wool or duvets ) on the floor for them to lay on, we had a past experience with a dog exception that almost ruined it for everyone forever and we are still a little traumatized

-please please do not let them lay in the beds or on the couches

-Please bathe them before your stay

-Be extra diligent about them around all of our plants that are low to the ground and make sure they don’t chew on our throw pillows.

-And of corse please pick up and dispose of their poop around the yard

****PLEASE NOTE THAT IF RULES ARE NOT FOLLOWED AND THE HOUSE IS EXCESSIVELY SOILED AFTER YOUR STAY WE WILL CHARGE THE FULL $500 SECURITY DEPOSIT****
