Villa Maruka is authentic stone-built villa, luxury restored with private swimming pool and wooden sundeck with sea views. Sleeps 6 to 8 persons in 3 bedrooms. It is situated in traditional island village Mirca, 10 minutes by walk from beaches and 3 km from lively town Supetar.
You can experience here relaxed island lifestyle, but with all the modern comforts (swimming pool, WiFi, air con, parking, everyday cleaning service...) and all this only 1h by ferry from the city of Split and airport.

The space
Villa Maruka is traditional stone built villa from the 19th century, luxuriously restored, perfect for families or groups of friends looking for relaxation and a slowdown in an authentic island location. Although peacefull, is still easily accessible and very close to all the amenities and, of course, the beaches and clear Adriatic sea.

The villa has just over 120 square meters of the interior. On the ground floor there is a lounge and dining area with SAT TV and a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a separate toilet/guest cloakroom, small laundry room and one double bedroom with a big bathroom en suite and a terrace door leading out onto a side terrace with small garden. From the lounge a grand staircase leads to the first floor which contains a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a family bathroom. There is one more shower room next to the outdoor eating area and pool. Each room has SAT TV, air conditioning and a safe. In the forecourt of the villa is a swimming pool and attractive outside dining area with BBQ, covered with the authentic stone roof. A sundeck is positioned to capture the best views of the sea and Dalmatian coast.

The nearest beach and a restaurant are only 800 meters from the villa (10 minutes’ walk!), a grocery shop is less than 2 minutes by walk and the nearby town of Supetar with its busy cafes, restaurants and shops is within 5 minutes’ drive or 30 minutes stroll.

Villa Maruka is situated in the traditional center of the village Mirca, but only 800 meters away from the beach and restaurant and only 5 minutes drive by car, taxi or bus from the town of Supetar and a ferry to the biggest Dalmatian city of Split. Although very easily accessible, this part of Mirca still has the authentic soul of an old island village. It still has stone houses, narrow streets, and the time you spend here passes more slowly and peacefully. The village is surrounded by old olive trees, orchards and unspoiled nature. Outdoor lovers will enjoy walking on Olive grove routs and biking in the surroundings...

During your stay

I will be there on call 24/7 in case of any emergency, but also to help you discover the best of our island, advise about things to see and places where to eat, organize bike/boat/car rental, book for you excursions, sports and adventure activities, gastronomy tours, wine tastings etc. My local knowledge is at your disposal!

On top of this, in the price of our villa rental you will get every day professional housekeeping service like in a hotel (cleaning and towels change every day)! Included in the price! Only thing not included is tourist tax 0,70 Euros per adult per day which has to be charged extra on site according to local regulations.

You have booked a late flight? Again, no problem. There is a midnight ferry going from Split to our island and I would be happy to meet you and show you the villa even at 1 am. If your flight is even later, there is a private speed boat transfer option, please contact me for details.
