Other Things to Note
In some reviews some guests were complaining about the noise. Now a brand new windows have substituted the old ones, making the flat more relaxing and cozy.
Marco's apartment was perfect for our short stay in Rome. It was really spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed - and the airconditioning was amazing in the hot Rome weather. The apartment is really close to a tram stop that takes you into the city in 15 minutes, which was great for sightseeing. There is also an amazing Deli right across the road, and a fruit shop next to the apartment so it was easy to buy anything we needed.
Our arrival and departure was smooth, especially with the help of Marco's mother Vivien who picked us up from the train station upon our arrival and then drove us to the airport after we had checked out for a small fee.
Overall we had a great experience and I would highly recommend this apartment.
We spent in Rome 4 days and everything during our stay was very good. The location is good - very close to the Trastevere train station and the photos posted on the website are accurate. Everything we needed was in the flat, it was clean and the Internet connection was fast. Nearby there is a fantastic restaurant with delicious traditional Italian food. We definitely recommend this place.
The apartment was just as I expected based on the photos. I loved the non-touristy feel of the neighborhood, and once we found the #8 Tram it was so easy to get downtown. Marco responded to my e-mails right away, and Vivian was a huge help with transportation and quickly responded to any questions we had. Oh, and the woman at the pizza place across the street was so nice and very patient with our clumsy Italian.
This is the best apartment I rent on airbnb. Marco answer really fast. Viviane is mom came to pick up us at the airport and was really welcoming. She explain how work all the apartement and gived us lots a tips to discover the area and the city. There is all you need around and in the apartment. Bank, grocery store, pizza, pastry and fruit little market are down tbe apartment. You can take the bus and the tramway to go dowtown. Its about 15 to 20 min. There is a hudge open market every sunday at about 4 corner from the house. Its about 15 euro in cab to go to downtown plaza venizia. We simply loved Rome for the warm and nice italian people, the city is buttiful and the food is simply to much good!
This is a really large and comfortable apartment with wonderful eating and transport options right on the door step. Air con was a god send when the temperatures soared in the middle of the day.
The apartment was very spacious and clean; my mother and I had a lovely time during our 3-day stay in Rome. The neighborhood was a nice distance away from the city center. We shopped at the vegetable market next door and had dinner across the street twice. We had some difficulty getting to the apartment; we weren't given the address until we had already arrived at the Trastevere station and we had to wait at the train station for a while before we could figure out where we were going. We were also told that we could store our luggage at the train station on the day of our flight, but later found out from an employee of the train station that the only place where one could store luggage was at the Termini station. Other than those two issues, we had a great experience in this apartment.
I am sorry for these inconveniences, but you probably did not check your booking confirmation properly. In that e-mail that airbnb send to everyone by default, all the details how to get to the flat, the address and telephone numbers to contact us are well stated. In my airbnb profile is also available a small guide for my guest with several tips and even a small google interactive maps, one of this map shows the flat location too. About the luggage room, you are right I thought really that Trastevere train station has one. Now I know that only Termini has it and I will tell this to all my guests.
Thanks a lot for your stay.

About the Host, Marco
I have started in AirBnB as a guest and I really enjoy it, that's why I became a host too. Thanks to my mom and my brother collaboration now I can host nice people in my flat in Rome. I think airbnb is a great idea to travel around and meet new people.
I use airbnb for job trips as well as for vacation with my wife.
I always take my camera with me. Photography is my first unprofessional job after work and I really love portraits of people. It's a good way to socialize.
When I travel, I don't like collect places, but I always try to live a little bit of their culture and talk with the people who live there. Of course, it's not always possible but I enjoy to keep trying.
