Interaction with Guests
We love people!!!!
El piso está situado en una zona de vida de todos los días de Roma, de manera que podéis encontrar las tiendas que os hagan falta y un supermercado con todos los productos italianos y internacionales.
Very well connected by public transportation.
You have a tram that take you in Piazza Venezia in 20 min. From Trastevere train station you can get to the Vatican in 15 minutes and from my flat you can go to Trastevere just by walking.
Other Things to Note
In some reviews some guests were complaining about the noise. Now a brand new windows have substituted the old ones, making the flat more relaxing and cozy.
Best place to stay in Rome! Its near a Tram stop that puts you in Piz Venezia in 15 min, the perfect spot! In a nice and friendly neiborhood with a lot of shops and mini markets, by far the best exp I had with Airbnb! Thanks very much!
el piso muy bien, es tal y como se ve en las fotos. Muy acogedor. la ubicación muy buena, en 15 minutos como maximo estabamos en el centro!!! el trato de marco ha sido excelente, muy amable y atento.
We spent our last 3 days in Rome and picked Marco's apartment. Our communication has been great since day one. Marco was not present when we checked in but his mom was there, who was very helpful giving us directions and recommendations to the restaurants and shops nearby. The pizzeria downstairs was just fabulous where we went nearly everyday. The apartment was well stocked, clean and spacious. We felt like home. Thanks Marco and Vivian!
Marco was a great host and quickly replied to messages with my requests and even went above and beyond to organize a taxi service to the airport which was a big help (thank you).
The apartment felt cosy & made a great first impression as it very clean and the location is about 20 minutes on the metro to the center which was ideal. I enjoyed the community feel to the location which offered supermarkets and local shops nearby.
First time user of airbnb and was prety happy with the result. Location wasnt in the heart of the City but being close to a tram station made travel very easy. The apartment was very nice, clean and plenty big enough for the two of us. I can see it being perfect for a family. Air Conditioning in all rooms was great. We were on the go so much, we really just washed and slept in the apartment. Others mentioned the sirens...yes we could hear them when we were awake, but never woke me up. The only issues we had when were arrived were 1) we hopped on the Tram in the wrong driection. Since we knew it was only one stop away we knew pretty quick we got on the direction. 2) The name listed on the instructions for the buzzer wasn't listed. Marco says he let me know earlier so Ill take the blame. An update to the online instructions should be completed however. Again as a first time user, I would definately use Airbnb again and recommend Marco's place for others
My boyfriend and I went to Rome for one week and we were really happy with this flat. Marco and his mother were really nice&helpful. The flat is close to a tram-station and you can reach nearly everything easily (and walking in Rome is really no problem). A supermarket is close to the flat. You hear the street (cars, emergency cars) but if you close the window in the sleeping room,it's totally okay. The flat is set about 20 minutes with the tram away from Piazza Venezia, which means that you're not in a total touristic neighborhood, what's pretty cool! We would come here again!
Had a great stay at the apartment. It was large and spacious which was great. The air conditioning was a bonus
Easy to get to from Roma Termini via bus H, 20 minutes max and the tram 8 was about 15 minutes
There is a supermarket at the end of the street which is handy and the entrance to the apartment is next door to a fruit shop
Marco's mother was lovely, and I took up the offer for her to take both myself and my daughter to the airport on the morning of our departure. Best spent €35
Just a few issues with the apartment.
* The washing machine leaks slowly when in use but it still works well
* There was NO toaster or kettle, so was boiling water on the stove, no drama but can be dangerous
* Few frypans were so greasy that I never used them
* Maybe a new dishcloth could be left for each new tenant
Would definately stay again and recommend highly
Thankyou for your hospitality
I have started in AirBnB as a guest and I really enjoy it, that's why I became a host too. Thanks to my mom and my brother collaboration now I can host nice people in my flat in Rome. I think airbnb is a great idea to travel around and meet new people.
I use airbnb for job trips as well as for vacation with my wife.
I always take my camera with me. Photography is my first unprofessional job after work and I really love portraits of people. It's a good way to socialize.
When I travel, I don't like collect places, but I always try to live a little bit of their culture and talk with the people who live there. Of course, it's not always possible but I enjoy to keep trying.
