Perfect flat in the very centre of central London, at the quiet end of a street full of restaurants and cafes. Walk to all the sights.
Fantastic flat in the very centre of Central London, Fitzrovia. Walk to most sights, including Covent Garden, The British Museum, Trafalgar Square and the shopping of Oxford St all within 15 minutes.
Quiet, tree-lined street near a small park and lots of restaurants/cafes etc. All major supermarkets have branches within 5 minutes' walk.
Less than 10 minutes' walk to The British Museum, Trafalgar Sq, Leicester Sq, Covent Garden, Oxford St, Bloomsbury, etc. 2 minutes' walk from Goodge St tube (Northern Line), 7 minutes's from Tottenham Court Rd or Oxford Circus (Central, Bakerloo or Victoria Lines).
Large one-bedroomed flat with separate living room, large dining kitchen, sash windows, fireplaces and other period features. Neutral decor. Very quiet inside, very fully-furnished, including all bed linens, duvets, towels, cooking equipment, etc. Fast wireless broadband, large washer/dryer with 'dry clean' programme.
Most London flats are very far from the centre - this flat is truly central and comfortable. It is on the third floor, so not suitable for those with walking disabilities or mobility difficulties, sorry.
Looking forward to welcoming you to London! :)

I attended a conference in London and luckily stayed in Amanda's apartment for three days. I enjoyed the stayed. Everything is just perfect.
Appartement parfait, le quartier est idéal, très proche du centre et a 15 min a pied de saint pancrass. Beaucoup de cafés et de restaurants au pied de l'immeuble mais le quartier reste très calme. Il y a même un tesco, idéal pour faire les courses.
We spent a month in this flat and would recommend it highly. Amanda is a warm and gracious host, highly responsive to concerns or questions and very professional and caring in her management. Elia, who cleans and also takes care of things when Amanda is away, is delightful. The flat itself is comfortable and homey and very clean. It's also surprisingly quiet. Because Charlotte Street is primarily offices, traffic falls off dramatically on evenings and weekends, though, in one of the largest cities in the world, there will be some noise. While other reviewers have had issues with the stairs, we had no problems at all -- and we're in our sixties -- though if you find stairs daunting, it's not the flat for you. The location is even better than we'd imagined. West End theaters and the National Gallery are no more than a 20 minute walk. The shops on Oxford Street (unfortunately for my pocketbook) are ten minutes away. The flat is set up nicely if you want to cook -- but if you want to eat out (and who wouldn't in London?), there are probably over 30 restaurants, pubs and coffee shops within a 2-block radius (we lost count), many of them excellent. Reynolds Cafe downstairs has better coffee than any of the chains. One of the best Indian restaurants in London -- The Gaylord -- is a 10-minute walk down Goodge St to Mortimer. With the Goodge Street tube stop two minutes away and Warren Street five minutes away, we found that we could get virtually anywhere in central London in less than 30 minutes. The Borough Market in Southwark, for example, is a surprisingly quick hop by tube for bread and cheese. In fact, the flat is so well situated that it was often quite convenient to return in the middle of the day for lunch or a quick break. We can't say enough good things about the entire experience. Thank you, Amanda! We want to come back.
Great place - big apartment, big comfortable bed, nice and warm. Awesome location. Very well stocked. Just a great place.
Be aware that the stairs continue inside the apartment. They are carpeted, but steep. We were nervous about our one year old falling down them. The three year old was fine.
We Spent a very lovely weekend at amanda's place. The location is ideal, the apartment is very comfortable, very clean. It was really great to have such an apartment in the center of london, i would recommand it to anyone.
Two negative points though :
First, the bathroom was lacking heater so it was really cold in it, no shampoo and just a little soap.
Secondly, I told amanda that we would leave at 12, it was a bit early for me but I thought it would suit everyone.
The cleaning lady asked us if she could come at 11:30, which was really early for us but we didn't dare to say "no" and finally she arrived a few minutes after 11 o clock and we felt a little forced to leave even if she was a nice woman.
Besides that, everything was perfect.
There is a huge heated towel rail style heater in the bathroom, taking up one wall, which can be turned on and off. There are always different kinds of shampoo, four full sized wrapped bars of soap, body lotion, hair conditioner, shaving foam, tons of spare towels and lots of other goodies in the closet under the bathroom mirror.
It's a small bathroom, but if any guest doesn't see something they want, or wants my help with anything at all, please just send an SMS. I normally reply instantly and am always very happy to help. Please don't be shy - if the cleaner asks to come early and it's not convenient, please do say "No".
Please never suffer in silence, everyone - I want my guests to be deliriously happy! :)
Great flat in central location a stones throw from Soho. Goodge street Tube a few minutes away. Elia showed us around and very kindly waited as we ran late. We would definitely stay here again.
Great flat and very proactive / available host !
Amanda was absolutely lovely and very accommodating to my schedule. Her flat was just as described, comfortatble, spacious and central. Thanks Amanda!
What a great apartment and location. It is so nice to have a "home" in London rather than a room. Amanda's flat is perfect, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. She is responsive if you need assistance with anything. Highly recommended.
A Amanda foi extremamente atenciosa e gentil. Sempre respondeu com rapidez os meus chamados. O apartamento é bom para duas pessoas e no máximo mais uma criança que possa dormir em um sofá tradicional. O ponto forte é a localização, absolutamente perfeita!
