A charming gardener's house, dating back to the end of the 19th century.
Wonderfully set by the sea, on the Lännersta inlet, you'll find this beautiful place. It is a mere 15 minute drive away from central Stockholm, yet located in very calm, quiet and idyllic surroundings.
We offer a fully equipped studio apartment, located in a separate building - the guest house.
It has a new & modern kitchen, a private shower/toilets and of course a beautiful sea view. There is one double bed, one sofa and one fold-out bed.
(It's also possible to rent the main house, please see our other listing)
The area has nice walking trails along the waterfront, great fishing and there are two kayaks available for guests.
The nearest bus stop is a 1.2km walk from the house. From there, the bus ride is approx 20-25 minutes into central Stockholm. Buses leave 4 times/hour during day-time. Taxi ride cost approx. €35.
For guests arriving by car there is a private parking space available.

Adam is a very good host, his small house is beautiful with a wonderful view.
Adam was very kind! Our travel plans changed very last minute and he was more than willing to accommodate our extra 2 people. Wish we could have stayed longer because the place by the lake was beautiful! Great wifi too!
If you are looking for an accomodation that allows you to enjoy both- a little bit of swedish nature as well as the lively city of Stockholm, this is the place to stay! The local bus allows you to reach the center of Stockholm within 20 minutes.
We stayed there in November, a rather unusual time for holidays in Sweden and still would do it again! The charming landscape invites you to long walks by the lake and extensive outdoor activities.
The house is very pretty, tastefully decorated and very clean. My two boys have liked very much playing outside. Adam is very nice person, helpfull, understanding (he has proposed spontaneously his help when I've need it). If you come with little children, like me, I advice you to come with a car, you would have the better possibility to visit the around. On the other hand, if you haven't children, we can move at bike easly, without problem.
A lovely, well equipped, apartment in such a great environment! And the view from the apartment is amazing.
We needed to get away for a couple of days and this was just perfect. Adam was a really nice guy as well.
Will come back for a longer stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at Adam and Emma's lake home. The proximity to Stockholm can't be beaten. The property exceeded our expectations in every way. Adam was very helpful and was able to provide us with an excellent restaurant choice in Gamla Stan. It is our hope to return in the near future.
We had a wonderful stay! The guesthouse was furnished affectionately with everything you need. It is a place where you can just relax, but you can also do many outdoor activities. Also you can reach Stockholm City shortly. Adam was accessible every time and very helpful. Beside that he has 2 Kayaks an bicycles, which you can use.
Altogether we can really recommend a stay at Adams and Emmas guesthouse.
We had a wonderful stay in Adam and Emma's place - the studio was quiet, cosy and beautifully decorated, and they gave us a friendly, helpful welcome. Lovely walks along the pretty coastal paths and wooded lanes nearby followed by peaceful evenings at home. It was fairly easy to get into Stockholm (Slussen) on the local bus, too, just a few minutes' walk to the bus-stop and a twenty-minute ride. Thanks for a lovely stay!
We stayed for 8 days in late August. The weather was very nice and warm. The cabin was just as it is presented in the photographs by Adam and Emma. My wife is picky about beds and this one was very comfortable. Even though the cabin is close to the main gardener's house where Emma and David live, there was the feeling of privacy. Emma and Adam were very accommodating by providing access to two bicycles, two kayaks, and even to bus passes with some preload on them. We for the most part stayed around the cabin but did venture into Stockholm once in the evening for dinner. The journey into the city was very easy, one bus to get to Slussen. I actually commuted into the Solin area during the work hours for 3 days. The journey took about 50 minutes and again was easy. There were three stores within riding distance and we took many nice walks. In all a very nice stay.
