Sitting in the middle of farmland, surrounded by mountains you will have this 4 bedroom 2.5 bath home with meadow to enjoy all to yourselves.
This home would make a great Honeymoon getaway for 2! Unpack, relax and make this your home away from home away from the hustle and bustle of every day city life.
Listen to cows mooing in the distance, feed the multitude of visiting birds, greet fox, rabbit and deer as they come visit, the fireflies are crazy in June!
And the sky is endless with stars on a clear night.
Or opt to bring the family and enjoy all this area has to offer! Your family will love all the outdoor areas, roast smores by the fire, swing on the spider swing, play ping pong, throw a football or fly a kite!
Downstairs provides a full living room, separate den with TV, Dining room with table for 8, master king bedroom with full bath, full bath next to den with washer and dryer and a full country kitchen.
Access the front porch and porch swing and rocking chairs from the living room, and a full terrace for outdoor seating off of the dining room.
Out the back door from the den is a large covered carport with a bar area and Hot tub, darts, ping pong table, fire table and grill.
Upstairs has 3 queen bedrooms and a half bath.
Nature provides fireflies and warm breezes in the summer, vibrant colors, pumpkin patches, fall festivals in autumn, choose and cut your own Christmas tree, shop local crafts for gifts and see the falling snow in winter, and experience nature coming to life with beautiful flowers emerging in springtime.
The house sits on an acre and across the street you'll have 3 acres to roam with picnic table and tree swing for the kids and the views are amazing.
Bring your kayaks or canoes as we are only 10 minutes from the New River loading site or visit the New River Campground to have them take you and cruise down the river. The local rivers and streams are stocked with trout.
Visit the local towns for shopping antiques and local crafts. There are so many day trips to explore.
The Yadkin Valley wineries are plentiful and near!
Grayson Highlands offers insane mountain views and wild horses.
Stone mountain has waterfalls, hiking and rock climbing.
The Blue Ridge parkway is a must to drive with the best hiking, views in all the East coast!
Bring your bicycle or rent one and ride the Creeper Trail from Damascus.
Visit local music and craft festivals, the bluegrass music trail, fiddlers conventions, antique car cruise ins, mud bogs, rodeos, fall fairs, Christmas tree farms, pumpkin patches, locally grown produce stands and so much more this area has to offer!

There is plenty of parking onsite. Both front and back doors have a keypad for entry.

• If you move something, please return it to its original position
• No crayons, markers, pens, playdoh, etc. are to be used except on desk
• Wash the towels as you go (soap is above the washer)
• Wood burning fires are to be burned in the fire pit only and must be attended at all times. Extinguish after use with water
• Clean the grill and cover after use (wild animals are attracted to the smell) If you do run out of propane, there is a Parkers or Speedway 10 minutes from the house
• Diapers and pet poop need to be bagged separately and placed in the smaller trash can with liner on the side of the house
• No eating in the beds. This results in linens not being able to be cleaned properly and thrown out and may result in additional charges to you and we don’t want that!
• There is a remote for the fireplace to turn it on and off, please don't try to adjust the flame or extinguish pilot light
• If you make a mess, clean it up! Mud, pet and mess towels are located over the dryer
• Couches are not to be used as beds. Permanently soiled items will need to be professionally cleaned or replaced
• Smoke outside only and use ashtrays
• No foreign objects in toilets as we are on septic and a plumber will cost you a lot, no bueno!
• Do not use white wash cloths to remove make up, small linens provided
• Please review our hot tub rules and pet policies
• You must shower off before use! Deodorants, perfumes, lotions, oils, etc., will cause the water to cloud and become unsanitary, resulting in additional cleaning and an additional fee, so please make sure you wash before enjoying the tub!
• No eating, smoking or drinking in hot tub
• Adults 16 and over only allowed in tub
• Cover and lock when not in use
• Spa towels are located over the dryer
• Do not allow pets on the furniture, we would like to keep it in great shape! Must bring your own pet beds and coverings.
• Sweep up/vacuum after your pet, it helps eliminate fur from getting on the linens and furniture, you know how it is!
• Pick up any poop and place in a separate bag, in the smaller trash container outside, not mixed with regular trash
• No pets are to be left alone in the house at anytime, they will miss you! Any damages will result in additional fees so crate your pet please
• There are other dogs in the neighborhood that are not on leashes, so it is highly recommended that you keep yours on one
• The pet rules that you agreed to at booking apply at all times
Damages: All damages will be the responsibility of Guest and include but are not limited to liability for damage due to the following: (a) intentional, willful, reckless, or malicious acts of Guest or others on the premises during the tenancy; (b) theft from the premises of either the Owner's property or property belonging to Guest; (c) gross negligence of Guest or intentional misuse of furnishings, appliances, equipment, or other amenities provided with the home; (d) damage caused while under the influence of alcohol or drugs; (e) damages to real property resulting from operation of any motorized vehicle by Guest. This liability shall extend to all members of Guest's party
In consideration of being able to rent and stay at the property, you agree on your own behalf, your family, any and all guests or invitees that you are fully responsible for any and all risks of injury or death. You hereby release and hold harmless Mountain Meadow Farmhouse and all its members and employees as well as the owners of the property. So please be careful!!
