Suzanne, the host, was most welcoming. Loved the space, location and quietness of the area. Will most certainly book with Suzanne again when the need brings us back to Austin. Thank you, Suzanne!
Great little place. Quiet and private, with a "industrial" feel to the inside which was very cool. Nice shower. She even left beer in the fridge for me! A beautiful walk to downtown as well. Easy to find, and really easy to stay.
About the Host, Suzanne
After 8 years living in New York City, I relocated to my home state of Texas, settling in the vibrate downtown Austin community of Clarkesville in 2007. I enjoy entertaining - love eating outdoors, cooking - my signature offering is French bread and jalapeno jelly, eating - anything and everything!, sampling wines and beers from all over the world and enjoying the great outdoors. My sentiment about travel is 1) getting there really can be half of the fun and 2) go local! Local grocery stores and markets can really convey the sensibilities of any locale. My goal is to accomodate my guests' interests and how they want to experience Austin but I do have a "local" bias. I look forward to hosting you in my guest house.
