The best panoramic views in London with windows overlooking the city from each room. Decorated with original art pieces and handmade or designer furnishings in a neighbourhood buzzing with clubs, restaurants and galleries of international standard!!!
This listing is for one double bedroom in a two bedroom. The flat is ideal for musicians as it has a piano, guitar and (a saxophone or flute may be borrowed on request). There is also a soundsystem, although I'm afraid it's not suitable for parties as noise needs to be low in the evening.
The building is an award winning 1972 ex-council tower block with stunning panoramic views across the East End, City of London and the West End.
The two lifts are shared with 51 other flats. They are cleaned every morning but be aware that sometimes there is litter. It's a characterful real life London block!
The flat is just off Hoxton Street. For anyone less familiar with this area, it is on the doorstep of some of London's best galleries, great bars and weekend markets - A hub of creativity and fun.

I have been teaching English for speakers of other languages for the past 11 years and offer English classes upon request. I also do art classes, particularly drawing, either in the flat or around London.
I'm a self-employed performance artist/painter/animator. I have lived in London all my life and in the block for 9 years. I love London and I particularly love this area. If you want any advice about cafes, restaurants, bars, galleries or other things to do I would be more than happy.

Great value, easy walking distance from Shoreditch and great views over Central London!
Fantastic stay at Claire's flat. Great views, lovely flat and is really close to hoxton square where there's some great restaurants and bars. Claire was great at organising everything all easy very easy. Would recommend.
Very artistic, cosy and neat appartment in Shoreditch. Claire was really very helpful and friendly. Everything was neat and the facilities were good. . The distance for us was a bit to far from the touristic centre unfortunately, but during our walks towards the metro and train station, we discovered tons of nice shops and coffeehouses. It is an upcoming neighborhood and we'll be back!
Claire`s apartment was great. A very nice and clean bedroom with beautiful art objects on the walls. Claire is more than friendly and helpful in all situations. The area is very cool. Usually tourists won`t go there, but they miss a lot.
Claire was a very friendly host and really helpful when it came to recommending a local restaurant (lots of vietnamese nearby).
The room is quite spacious and bright and the views are amazing.
I got a hug from Claire's toy poodle every day which was an unexpected but very pleasant addition.
And being on the 7th floor the lift if handy ;-)
Claire's place was great, and she was really helpful, whether sharing her tea or sharing suggestions for things to do in the area. The Space is very open, and the views of the london skyline are incredible. Her neighborhood, Shoreditch, is really cool - lots of street art and cool shops. I even found a place to get thanksgiving dinner! I'd definitely stay with Claire in the future!
Claire was a great host (hostess?) She is friendly, informative and very helpful. Her two flats are both in a wonderful central location in the new East London so very convenient for the local Shoreditch/ Hoxton attractions and accessible to everywhere else via the nearby Old Street underground station. And both flats have GREAT views over the city. Definitely stay here.

I'm a London born artist. My flats are full of art work by myself and others and a lot of the furniture is also made by local artisans. I love London and I hope to show off the best of it!
I'm very happy to recommend local galleries, bars, cafes or clubs. It might also be possible to use my art studio, which is 3 minute walk from the flat.
My favourite part of London is where the flat is: Hoxton/Shoreditch in Central East London. I'm usually nearby unless I'm out of town - I do travel quite a lot but have a good team to help with the flats while I'm abroad.
I run marathons, so let me know if you want any advice on running routes. It's possible to run for 20 or 30 miles through parks, along canals, marshes and woodland - only being on a road for a couple of minutes from the flat!
I speak French, some Spanish and a little Japanese.
