Interaction with Guests
As much or as little as you like! I'm usually in and out of the flat a lot, and I want guests to feel relaxed and at home; I'm always happy to chat and advise but will also naturally respect your privacy.
The flat is centrally located so perfect for getting to all London's attractions, but the street is quiet and very residential - it feels quite tucked away. It's easy to get to pretty much everywhere, and it's a friendly and diverse urban neighbourhood - with lots of lovely green spaces nearby.
Great public transport links - buses, tube and railway stations all just moments away, hire bike racks across the street - and the flat is a fantastic base for walking too.
There are very few house rules - make yourself at home, and just be generally respectful of the flat.
We enjoyed our stay. The location of the apartment is very convenient, just few minutes from the elephant and castle station to reach all the touristic places in minutes. The room was a little bit small for two but very comfortable and safe. The host was kind and friendly, and made the stay nice. Recommended!
Karen was a lovely host, very calm and easy going. Her place is really cosy, clean, smart and tidy. She had some lovely liquorice tea which made me happy. I felt i really had space a her place to complete some work, eat, rest and relax.
Karen welcomed us at her flat and she was nice and lovely from the beginning. She let us stay in the flat by ourselves which I appreciated as a gesture of trust and discretion. The flat is extremely cosy and the most stylish small apartment I´ve ever seen. It´s located in a nice area not far from the center. The only thing that disturbed our stay was the construction works in the building, starting at 8 or 9 even on the weekend right under our bedroom. Of course, that was not Karen fault but a little heads up or even the possibility to pick a quiet alternative under that conditions would have been in order, I feel. Because vacation is about sleeping late and relaxing, isn´t it? :) All in all though, we had a nice time at Karen´s place and (once the construction is finished) I could recommend it to everybody!!!
We loved staying at Karen's. She is a lovely person and told us great places to go to make the most out of our vacation. The flat is very clean and tidy and the bed is very comfortable. The location is great, getting to the important London sights is easy and only a few stops on the tube. On top of that, Karen provided a lovely breakfast choice for us. Truly recommendable! Thanks a lot.
About the Host, Karen
Hello! I was born in London, have been in this flat eleven years, and it is truly the nicest place I've ever lived. I used to travel a lot for work, and always loved finding the stuff the guide books don't tell you. Now I tend to stay home and make the most of this astonishing city - on a budget! I'd be very happy to help you make the most of it too.
