Interaction with Guests
As much or as little as you like! I'm usually in and out of the flat a lot, and I want guests to feel relaxed and at home; I'm always happy to chat and advise but will also naturally respect your privacy.
The flat is centrally located so perfect for getting to all London's attractions, but the street is quiet and very residential - it feels quite tucked away. It's easy to get to pretty much everywhere, and it's a friendly and diverse urban neighbourhood - with lots of lovely green spaces nearby.
Great public transport links - buses, tube and railway stations all just moments away, hire bike racks across the street - and the flat is a fantastic base for walking too.
There are very few house rules - make yourself at home, and just be generally respectful of the flat.
My girlfriend and I where looking for a place to stay that was convenient for the young Vic theatre.
When we arrived Karen was on site to greet us, make us a cup of tea, show us around and was very easy to deal with and talk to.
The location was absolutely perfect for anyone looking to stay in the Waterloo area.
We had a lovely stay at Karen's place. Great location, just minutes away from the tube station and bus stop. Perfect if you're just looking for a place to crash and plan to spend most of your time out and about.
Upon arrival, Karen was more than welcoming! The location was more than perfect, being only 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from one of the main tube stations as well as bus stops. And even when I found myself lost in London, Karen was more than helpful to assist me in finding my way. The room was adorable and her entire home is quite picturesque. Although I did not partake in the breakfast due to my own need to go out and explore at my earliest, it was provided and much appreciated. Overall, my experience at her home was absolutely great and lovely and I would not be surprised that if I go back, I will book with her again. Karen, many thanks and it was an absolute pleasure to meet you!
Karen's a very friendly and helpful host. The apartment location is great, very close to the city center. The room is as shown in the pictures, ok for 1 person, would be quite small for anymore than that.
About the Host, Karen
Hello! I was born in London, have been in this flat eleven years, and it is truly the nicest place I've ever lived. I used to travel a lot for work, and always loved finding the stuff the guide books don't tell you. Now I tend to stay home and make the most of this astonishing city - on a budget! I'd be very happy to help you make the most of it too.
