Flat very well located, Serena was very welcoming.
carpets could be cleaner ... many thing to be fixed such as the coffee machine, some lights should be fixed as well
The apartment is located just off San Marco square so is very handy to major sights and all vendettoes. And hordes of tour groups! However, it's accessed by two,, tiny, rather dark lanes and while I felt safe, it was actually too isolating, a little creepy. I wasn't sure there was anyone else in building or anywhere close. I certainly never heard or saw anyone. I'm well aware some would consider this an advantage, just didn't suit me. Serena, the person who met me, was very pleasant and the apartment itself is renovated and reasonably spacious. However, I had no heating for the first two days, when it was cold and wet, and no Internet for the last 24 hours when I needed to confirm further travel plans. I notified Serena immediately and she was prompt in her response but all she was able to do was notify the maintenance man, the same one who rehung the shower door and solved the lack of heating. I wasn't sure how he was going to "fix" the Internet and nothing happened before I left. The lights over the cooking area did not work nor did some in the bathroom. All up, I didn't think this was good enough for the price. This was my sixth apartment on this trip and was by far the most expensive. It was also the only one where I was dealing with an agenc, Faville Tours, rather than directly with owner. I would not do it again as the difference in care and concern was significant.
The apartment fit the description exactly. The location couldn't have been any better, next to Basilica di San Marco without all of the noise. Every other attraction is walking distance from the apartment.
As for the hosts, they were very great! We met up with Marco who was very accommodating and provided us with a book of recommendations. I have no problem recommending this place.
We stayed five nights in this apartment and we really liked it. It was calm but also very central. Just behind the St. Marco place.
Faville Tours made our trip confutable.
We recommend CA DEI DAI Appartement
