The outside parking spot is 8.5 x 20 ft. if you have large car, make sure you'll fit. Street parking is usually not a problem.
This is an apartment (in a duplex, in a 4-unit complex), not a single family home. Not sure why some people assume otherwise.
NOTE: City of San Diego requires us to collect a 10.5% Transient Tax, 0.55% Tourism Marketing District tax, and 0.39% transaction cost on the first month of any vacation rental stay.
Airbnb rules require this to be collected separately from your booking payment and by us directly.
Upon your booking you will be sent a link to an online form for payment of this tax by credit card.
You will need to complete this form before entry instructions will be given. The card will be charged at the time of your stay.

2.People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property.
3.The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
4.Keep the property and all furnishings in good order
5.PETS are permitted only with prior written approval and are subject a $25/night/pet fee and to the following terms:
a.Pets discovered to have been brought without prior approval and payment will be charged for at a rate of fifty dollars ($50.00) per night per pet for any nights the property is occupied by the Guest(s).
The discovery of pets brought any Guest(s) without prior approval is subject to immediate removal of the Guest(s) and pets from the Property and termination of the remainder of their stay without refund.
b.Guest must take due care to immediately pick up after their pets on property grounds or be charged for any cleaning cost and/or loss of revenue from other guests or tenants.
c.Guest(s) hereby declare that the pets are known to be non-aggressive to other animals and people and are neutered or spayed.
d.Guest(s) accept full liability FOR ANY HARM DONE by Guests’ pets to any other animals or people and any property damage.
6.Fees: These fees are designed to encourage you to follow the rules, NOT to give us a reason to charge them.
We do not make or want to make money on these. At best they reimburse us for losses.
We do not like charging them. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE US A REASON TO.
a.Failure to turn off lights and/or fans upon checkout$10
b.Failure to turn of the heating, stove, oven, or closing the refrigerator upon checkout $30
c.Failure to spin the combination on a key lock box and/or closing the combination door will require the resetting of the combination and re-informing all the upcoming guests and will carry a $15 fee.
d.Any other costs incurred due to Guests intent or negligence will be reimbursed at actual cost
e.Any time required to be invested by the management as a result to Guests intent, negligence, or error will be charged at fifty dollars ($50) per hour, including travel time.
Listing was as described. Check was very easy as Alik provides a detailed welcome letter which provides all info needed in regards to the rental. Only complaint would be the lack of sheets available as we had to sleep on a bare mattress and pillows without the pillow case.Location is great and neighborhood is peaceful.
The apartment looked as it does in the photos. Could probably use a deep cleaning, as some stains were found on couch and bedding. Additionally, the fitted sheet didn't fit the pull-out sofa. Just wanted to stress that the parking spot is SUPER tiny, and with my normal sized car, I had to squeeze through one side after parking. Most cars will need to park on the street. Otherwise it was overall a nice place with a cute backyard patio.
Pros: Clean room, convenienty located (only a 5 minute drive to Gaslamp), spacious, full-kitchen and bathroom
Cons: (very) uncomfortable bed, worn sheets, room can get hot without AC, no iron as advertised, no batteries for air mattress pump
That's very weird comment given that the air mattress pumps we provide do not require batteries. They are plug-in.
And all units have irons. Sounds like one got stolen again. Wish they'd just let us knwo instead of say it here. Would have had another one dropped off same day.

The studio was just as it appears in the photo, the parking space is quite small so you may need to park on the street. The Kitchen was ok, could use a frying pan and a few other cooking items but it worked for us. The area was within easy driving distance to everything and had convenient stores close. The neighborhood was not as quiet as I expected. the Firestation is close so you could hear the truck sirens and the neighbors were a bit loud and smoked under our window with the fan so we had to close it.
The apartment is okay.
When we arrived we had no problems getting in. The studio is okay for two. It looked clean but I would recommend a deep cleaning of some items such as couch or carpet, since they look a bit used and you have to sleep on it.
It got really hot in the house, 2 fans were okay though. One of the fans is laying on the floor and it was impossible to watch TV because of the noise. The Toilet has a defect and runs constantly if you dont fix it yourself. I didnt receive the FAQ email so I had to send textmsgs to Alik kindly asking for the wifi password. But he told me to look for a free wifi spot somewhere to look up the FAQ email (which I didnt receive) instead of simply providing me with the password.
Location is great.
With in easy reach of all the amenities. Very clean and comfortable
