Tucked away near DuPont state forest sits an enchanted modern cabin on 6 private acres. This one bedroom one bath private home is the perfect basecamp for your getaway in the mountains. It's within 15 minutes of all the mountain biking and hiking DuPont State Forest has to offer and about a 15 minute-ish drive to Pisgah National Forest . After a day of adventures come home to enjoy some time on the back deck (it feels like you're in a treehouse) listening to the birds while the sun sets.

The space
I feel like these home descriptions are always written to sound a little too good to be true, but I live here and rent out my home when I'm out of town, so I'll just say the things I love that I think you will too.

I love grilling with friends and listening to the birds on the back deck. I love that when I look out the windows it looks like I'm in a tree house. I love opening the windows to feel the cool breeze and filling my house with music whether it's my record player, speaker, or piano. I love turning on the string lights in the evening and sitting around the fire pit on the deck with a glass of wine. There's a lot more I love but that's enough for now. :)

Oh, and if you are looking for a unique hiking experience, I own my own "coffee hike" guiding company - we make great coffee at waterfalls (search AirBnb for Coffee Hike to Three Waterfalls for more info :)

I operate a separate mini cabin on the 6 acre property as well. It is a super cute mini A frame cabin tucked int the woods so you can not see if from the house, but someone may be staying there during your stay and you will see their car parked.

Other things to note
My place is super dog friendly. I choose not to do a pet fee because I hate paying those for my dog. I can only keep doing this if I don’t have any pet issues so please make sure your pet is always watched and crated if you leave the house.

Neighborhood highlights

I chose to live here because I love the land and the location. You'll feel totally connected to nature but it's only 15 minutes to Hendersonville and 17 to Brevard so you're never too far from civilization.

I do have a second cabin on site, so it is possible you will see a car parked across the way during your stay - but the second mini cabin is not visible from the house and those guests know to give you privacy :)

I recently purchased my first home in the mountains near DuPont State Forest, and when I am out of town for hiking trips or other adventures I open it up for guests to rent and enjoy my little modern cabin in the forest.
