Alison and family were great. There were personal welcoming signs posted where we could see them on our arrival. It is the most beautiful spot on the lake. We enjoyed the paddle boat on the lake. Everything was decorated to make you feel like you are in a very special place. Roger, her husband fixed a wonderful breakfast using eggs from their very own chickens. I highly recommend this place. Thanks so much Alison!
Alison made us feel most welcome at their beautiful home on the lake. The place is absolutely fabulous with a dream-like setting on the water as described on the website and is very private. The gardens are outstanding and we enjoyed the bountiful nature surrounding us.
A beautiful spot on the water. Alison and Roger were wonderful hosts, providing a delicious and plentiful breakfast each morning! We took the paddle boat out for a relaxing day on the lake. The snug, while it lives up to its name in size, was full of amenities...microwave, mini fridge, fan, clock. The queen bed was very comfortable. The private bath inside was only a few steps away. It is large and also filled with all sorts of amenities, fo travellers who may forget something. Lots of space to relax in the hammock, or grill up a BBQ meal. Highly recommend staying here!
The stay at Vernon Lakeshore Paradise Retreat was absolutely splendid. Came exactly as advertised and the hosts were as good as it gets! To have a location right on Lake with willow trees dangling just above the water is such a treat. I came with my girlfriend to the Okanagan for a wedding and she needed a big bathroom to get ready, the bathroom provided by the hosts was absolutely perfect. For anyone looking for the perfect getaway location, this one can't be beat. Thank you Alison!
A very cool location by the lake. Nice amount of outdoor space to take advantage of, and got out on the lake with the canoe which was fun. The snug itself was what we expected, clean and comfortable. We kept most of our luggage in the car which freed up space. Would recommend.
Alison was a wonderful host and made us feel more than welcome at all times! My friend and I drove to Vernon for a short weekend getaway and felt like we were in paradise the entire time. The property was absolutely beautiful and the breakfasts were delicious. Thank you Alison and Roger!
