Get away from the city and enjoy a relaxing retreat in this historic hand hewn log cabin surrounded by Wayne National Forest. Lounge on your private covered porch in one of the rockers and watch the occasional horse and buggy go by. Roast marshmallows in one of the two fire pits on the property.

Take in the scenic views on your way to the beautiful trails, hunting, kayaking, and canoeing just a short drive away. Make sure to check out the local wineries, country stores, and Amish businesses!

The space
The property sits off of State Route 233 on about 2 acres of grass surrounded by Wanye National Forest. The main part of the cabin is from the late 1800’s and has been renovated and built onto by local Amish craftsmen. The cabin is filled with antiques, locally sourced furniture, and artwork.

Where you’ll be

The cabin is in a valley surrounded by Wayne National Forest. We do our best and have professional pest control, but you may see an occasional bug inside. You might see deer, possums, or other critters outside. We hope they delight you as much as they do us.

There is another cabin occupied by the hosts and a pole barn on the property. The pole barn is between the two cabins providing you with plenty of privacy.
