This nice duplex garden in South Park Slope is a few steps from many 7th avenue shops, restaurants and cafes. It's also 5 blocks away from Prospect Park and an 8 minutes walk to the the F, G and R trains.
The garden level is an open space with a living room, modern fully equipped kitchen and half bathroom. A large sliding door opens to the backyard where you can enjoy quiet time outside of the city or a nice night barbecuing. In the living room, there is a twin bed (we can add a twin rollaway bed).
On the first floor, there is one bedroom with a queen bed (this room has a wall to separate an office area where you can use the imac).
In the office, we could add the twin rollaway bed.
The second bedroom has a full bed. The second floor bathroom has a bathtub. It's a large apartment (1200 sq ft) and would be perfect for a family of 5 or 2 couples. This apartment has beds for 6 people. We also have a playpen if you have a baby or toddler.
I listed it as a 3 bedroom because it's large, the living room can be a room to sleep and the office is separated with a wall from room 1.

From the very beginning, Elodie was great in providing us her apartment for use over the winter holidays. She was very responsive, always following up respectfully if our group had any concerns or issues. Our group of 6 comfortably fit in the apartment with plenty of room. The entire home was thoughtfully decorated, clean, and organized. We loved the bookshelf filled with lots of classics and design books. The neighborhood was full of great food, with delicious coffee, bagels, pizza and organic groceries close by.
We loved our stay. I highly recommend both Elodie and her space to others.
Elodie and her family were wonderful and welcoming. My in-laws were in town to visit my family and this was the perfect place to host family game nights. The space is warm and inviting and much brighter than the pictures seem. The location is perfect- right between the R and F trains. The "pebble" couch was a huge hit with everyone asking where they could get one. Thanks for a great Christmas!
This was the second time family has stayed at Elodie's place, again it was wonderful having them so close by. Elodie was very easy to schedule and communicate with and upon our arrival we were super prepared with how to take care of the house. It was such a lovely stay and we were all very comfortable and relaxed. Thank you!
Lovely apartment in a great neighborhood. Worked well for our family of 5. Kitchen is spacious, modern, and well-equipped, and the family room area is fun. Bedrooms are comfortable. It's a NY-sized place, but it just works really well. Elodie is super welcoming and responsive, and provides clear instructions for everything.
elodie was sweet as can be. she was very communicative, available, kind and generous, the apt. was clean and in a safe and quiet neighborhood, the courtyard beautiful, the beds comfortable; the decor is an absolute treat. she and jon have maximized every inch of space. she is a textile designer and has created amazing felted wool curtains and furniture and art. there are really unique design touches throughout the space. the apt is better in real life than the web pics. really wish we got to see her studio in gowanus, but we will be back again!
We had a great time in Elodie's place, both Johnathan and Elodie provided informative travel tips to us.
Highly recommended for young traveller like us , our group of 4 loves every single corner of the house and the collection of books.
I'm French living in Brooklyn with my family for 10 years and I love this place. It's the city and the suburb life in the same place. Feel free to ask me anything about any neighborhood or venue and I'd be happy to give you my opinion or point you in the right direction. I'm new to Airbnb, but it seems like the perfect tool to rent out my house to the right people. I'm honest, trustworthy, and considerate, and am looking for the same traits in my guests. I hope we can form a long-lasting relationship and you stay at my place anytime you're in town!
