Lyle and her husband are the best host! I went to Peru with little planning and they helped me on literally everything, from picking me up in the airport to schedule bungee jumping lol. The town is very nice and not touristy, but also close to Cuzco and Machu Picchu. Clean and spacious room. Thanks you really made my trip to Peru more enjoyable!

Response from Lyle:
Thanks Aoying, we were happy to help with your planning and we enjoyed watching you do the bungee jump, and one slight correction, it should be Lyle and his wife.

Absolutely wonderful stay with Lyle & Lily! They were so helpful and attentive to any needs. Very professional with how they run everything, yet at the same time having a real 'homely' feel—they were kind of like a mum and dad away from home :) I left a book in my room after I checked out and they were so kind to drop it off in Cusco for me. Amazing people!

This was one of the best places to stay and the most comfortable of all. I would highly recommend staying longer then a few days. A bit away from things but easy to get around from the small town. The hosts were very helpful and easy with everything. I would go there again. Planning next year to stay longer and bring friends. Thanks much. Electrum

Met at bus and even stopped at a local market not in guidebooks on the way home because we wanted to do that. Lyle and Lily make a study of how to be the best hosts from little things like a layout of teas and drinking water accessible at all times to big things like arranging taxi tours and hotel stays. homemade typical dinner with all the guests is not to be missed and happens every night. Lily runs a tight ship but a very cozy welcoming stay...super clean, super functional...Lyle has made this beautiful old hostal in tip top shape and you never run out of hot water or plugs that work. the town of Huaronco is charming...don't miss the glorious colonial church in the square. you do have to go to Izuachaca to get most places but we found it easy. L&L can arrange drivers for

Comfortable room. Delicious food with actually enough to fill you up (unlike your average peruvian breakfast). Hospitable hosts. Overall an enjoyable experience, especially if you prefer to be outside the big city. If relying on public transportation the times to cusco can be iffy. And the hot water is average for the cusco region (electric not gas).
