I travel a bit and i have made friends in most parts of the world and when i travel i usually stay with them..
This was the first time i had to stay with a new person and i felt well received by Gina she is amazing very helpful, she knows alot about the city and is a super nice person recommend staying just to meet her.
The room and the house are great, room is decent size and the bed is comfy and clean. The area is good close to parks and public transport.
We very much enjoyed our stay at Gina's place in Brooklyn. For one, the location is perfect for exploring the city since subway and bus lines are all within walking distance. Also, the neighborhood is very vibrant: different to anything we had seen seen before. It's mostly black, not polished, far from being proper and (not yet) gentrified and thus may not be to everyone's taste. But for us it was just what we needed.
Gina is a very nice person and open to suggestions on how to improve her guests' stay. We had some interesting conversations which we hopefully can continue sometime in the future.
As for the appartment itself, we had the street facing room and though it sometimes was noisy during the night, we had no problem getting a good night's sleep.
All in all, I highly recommend Gina's place if you need a place to stay in Brooklyn/NYC.
Gina was very welcoming and so were her other guests. I was only in town for one night, but it made my trip so much nicer.
Had a great stay with Gina, her checkin instructions were very straightforward. Room was as seen in the picture. I was able to cook in the kitchen as and when I wanted to. The bathroom was clean and neat. Had a comfortable stay, I would stay again if I return to Brooklyn. Gina was very friendly and welcoming as well.
Recomiendo mucho este lugar. Fina es adorable y mi atenta con sus huéspedes. La casa queda apartada de NYC, si no tiene afán es un sitio perfecto!
We were happy to choose Gina's apartment. Even i's not isolated private apartment - it's shared with two other guests. We occupied own bedroom and shared living room, kitchen and bathrooms with others. It was very convenient that Gina provided us with space were we parked our car. It's very hard (probably, impossible) to find parking space on the street! We escaped it due to Gina!
It's walking distance to subway station (three blocks only), and to two supermarkets.
Instructions provided by Gina were just right. It was easy to obtain the key and make myself comfortable on her apartment. Gina is very friendly and has a wonderful vibe. Her apartment is well located and clean. Don't think twice, send Gina an email and have fun in Brooklyn :)

About the Host, Gina
I am a Massage Therapist, Colon Hydrotherapist and Yoga Teacher (ExhaleHealingArts). I commute to work via the handmade Bamboo Bicycle I built. I am active--swimming, traveling, hiking, music, you name it! I moved to NYC after living in Rincon, Puerto Rico (10 yrs!) where I surfed, worked and built an Earthdome on my 5-acre property. I now split my time between the two places :)
Look forward to meeting you :)
