Had a great stay at Monica's apartment in the heart of Rome's Monti neighbourhood. The apartment was clean, comfortable and offered all you could need in between busy days touring Rome. The location was ultra convenient as you are walking distance to most important monuments! Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment Monica! Alberto
Monica's place was the perfect place for my stay in Rome. My traveling companion and I got to the apartment right at 1 and while Monica was away, her friend Maria met us and showed us in. She was very friendly and helpful.
The apartment itself was perfect for our needs. Exactly as it is pictured, the entire apartment is clean and spacious for 2 people. The bathroom is stocked with everything you need: washer, detergent, towels, hair dryer, even body wash and Q tips! The beds were very comfortable and even though we didn't use the kitchen this time, it was a nice feature and it's definitely a plus to have.
The area and location are perfect. This apartment is located smack in the middle of Via dei Serpenti, one of Monti's busiest and happening streets. The view from the windows is incredible- just look to the right and there's the Coliseum. It can get a little noisy outside in the morning and at night but that honestly didn't bother me at all. That's par for the course for this neighborhood. You're easily no more than 20-25 minutes walking distance from virtually everything you'd want to see in Rome, you're less than 5 minutes from the metro, and the neighborhood and its surrounding streets have enough to keep you busy when you want to stay close to home. Some of my favorite places were right outside my door. Right after you exit the building, one door down, there's Antico caffe, the perfect place to start your day with a cappuccino and pastry for breakfast. If you head down 3 minutes to the next block on Via Panisperna, you'll find the best place to end your night with a glass of wine, beer and some great food, Ai Tre Scalini. Other neighborhood standouts to check out are Le Tavernelle, La Carbonara (lunch/dinner- more traditional) , Urbana 47, Civico 4 & Fatamorgana gelato (lunch/dinner/dessert/drinks- more modern).
All in all, this place suited my trip perfectly, and for what she's asking, you can't a better deal for an apartment this good and in such an incredible location. I will 100% contact Monica to stay here again for my next stay in Rome.
The apartment was exactly as described and situated in the most wonderful location on a charming local street. Monica was there to greet us on arrival and lives just opposite should you have any questions. We absolutely loved the apartment and would recommend it to anyone x
Very nice and well located flat, minutes from very good restaurants (far better than the ones you'll find in touristic areas). The flat is well designed.
