Chris and Bryan were terrific hosts, very hospitable and always willing to answer questions about the area. The neighborhood is great; close to a wide selection of food, U. Street, and the green/yellow Metro line. The house is large yet cozy, and the main room on the first floor provided a wonderful work area during the day and a nice place to chat with other guests in the evening. I stayed with Chris and Bryan for eight weeks and hope to do so again in the future. Highly recommended!
Great place. Feels very much at home. Everything was a walking distance, from public transport to shopping and eating place. Would stay again next time I visit DC. The hosts were wonderful. Thank you for everything.
Stayed at Chris' place for 5 weeks after getting a new job in DC as sort of an in between place until I could get a permanent apartment. Chris actually took the time to help me deal with odds and ends issues like parking and made a point to let me know when I got mail at the house after I had moved to my new apartment. The place is clean, kitchen and rooms are outfitted well. Chris does a pretty good job of vetting the other people staying there, who were all young professionals when I was there. Obviously I'd recommend the place.
This stay is my first with Airbnb and it was really a great experience. Despite the fact my stay has been shortened I really enjoyed living at Chris and Bryan's place. I only met Chris who was very understanding and helpful. Their house is fully equipped (and what a kitchen!) and very welcoming. Comfortable bed, plenty of space in the room and very clean bathroom. A few blocks away from the red line. Slight inconvenience, the grocery store is a bit further than anything but there's a CVS at a 5min walk.
I recommend the place!

I am a long time resident of DC, but travel a bit. Professionally I have been invoved with internet start ups in one way or another since the first internet bubble-bust.
I founded a pretty popular music podcast network called IndieFeed, and most recently a service called HugeFan. The first one went smashingly good, the following one just kind of smashed.
Now I am taking a new fork in the road with a new consumer product for people who have and admire beards. Like me. I developed Beardashery No. 1 beard oil, and it is sold online and in select salons like DC's Logan 14 Aveda Salon & Spa. Now I get to say things like "ask for it by name!" and "Yes I do recommend a gift for that hard-to-please bearded guy." :)
I love meeting people and connecting everyone, and this space is a part of this exciting hobby :)
So it's helpful to know who I am dealing with. It helps me to deliver on expectations and to assess a successful match. So, filling-out your profile plus information about your planned stay prioritizes your request above the others.
