This is a dream New York loft for those who want to enjoy all the entertainment New York has to offer to the fullest - either going out or staying at home. It's ideally located on famous Bleecker Street, one or two blocks away from Soho, East Village, Greenwich Village and the Lower East Side, so everything is walking distance: restaurants, movie theaters, Whole Foods, local coffee places, bars, the small designers boutiques on Mott Street, one of the best pizzerias in town on Bowery, and if you want to get out of neighborhood, the 6 train Bleecker Street stop is right in front of the building and the Broadway-Lafayette stop is one block away. The loft has 14 ft high ceilings, a big fully equipped kitchen with even a professional espresso machine (only for experienced users, please), an ice cream maker and a BlendTech blender. There is a big dining space, AC, super fast FIOS internet, Cable with HBO, an audiophile sound system with hundreds of albums in digital format to choose from. The living room is also a home theater with a huge projector screen with over 800 DVDs and blu-ray discs to choose from.
The dining area has a table that can be easily moved on the side to accommodate an extra bed (inflatable) for extra guests.
Please note that my two cats will keep you company, and because of that, I will only make the loft available to real cat lovers who won't mind feeding them and playing with them during their stay.

This loft was amazing! The photos don't do it justice! It was so big and had everything you could need in it. It was very quiet, but still close to many things. The cats were great and well behaved apart from occasional meowing through the night. Would definitely stay here again!
The apartment is wonderful. Ideally located in a cool neighborhood. with great coffee, restaurants, and perfect access to the subway. The whole stay was well organized, including a house manual with instructions for how things worked, restaurant and grocery recommendations. I wish I had a reason to be back in NYC soon and I would definitely stay here again.
We stayed at Luca's place for 5 nights in December and it was great. The location is really good - close to Soho, Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Lower East Side etc so there's plenty to do within walking distance. Luca left us a very comprehensive guide to the apartment and the cats, and a long list of great restaurants to try. Luca was also very quick to respond when we had questions. We didn't get to meet Luca but picked up the keys from his friend on our way to the apartment, which worked fine.
The cats are really sweet, Dolph in particular was lovely and very affectionate. However as Luca says in the listing, this place is definitely only for cat lovers. You can't easily separate the cats from the sleeping area, so they will probably come and sleep with you (not a problem for us but may be for some!). Also they both miaow a lot, quite loudly, so if you are a light sleeper this may bug you. And you definitely need to spend some time playing with them, otherwise they will be very bored, but again, this is fun.
Saying that, it was nice to come home to the cats each day, they were good company. Luca also has a great entertainment system and a comfy sofa - perfect for when you come home after a long day of walking around the city. He has a huge DVD collection, and netflix so you have loads of choice! The bed is huge and comfy too.
This was our first experience of airbnb so we were a little apprehensive, however this was a great experience and we will definitely use it again.
Luca's loft is situated in one of the best areas of NYC, 5 minutes walking into SOHO, 2 minutes into Little Italy, 5 minutes to Chinatown, 10 minutes from LES etc. The area is full of excellent restaurants and cafes, and there is a Green subway line just in front of the building, the green line is one of the most convenient lines to get on. The place in itself is large and open, everything we needed to live, cook and enjoy was there. The cats made us feel at home immediately (so did we to the cats :-), they were quiet and very friendly, looking for company and cuddles when we were sitting in the sofa. The place has a truly great audio and video installation, which we liked a lot. I admit I'm a spoiled audio enthusiast, and I was very happy with this set as well. The contact with Luca was easy and correct. We would definitely recommend this place. Luc & Inez.
My husband and I came from France to stay in Lucas loft for 2 wks. and loved it, even thru the huricain Sandy! We felt very safe, even though we had no electricity for a few days, we were happy to have a gas stove and hot water. Many in the neighborhood didn't.
The apt. is very comfortable with a great entertainment system, and Luca was very paitient with us trying to figure it all out.
The neighborhood is fantastic for walking everywhere, shopping and restaurants. We loved staying there and hope to go back. We miss the cats already!
Great apartment in a perfect lower Manhattan location. Loft living at it's best with all the comforts and conveniences one could ask for. Luca and I had easy communications and he was very accommodating. The cats were a delight, beautiful and sweet, I hated to leave them. (That said, there is a certain amount of work involved in caring for them; a few of my NYC friends laughed and reminded me that most people pay to have pets taken care of, rather than being paid! And on a few occasions I had early wake-up cries in an otherwise very quiet apartment.) All in all I can recommend this apartment and Luca as a host without reservation. And the neighborhood, just a few blocks from the Bowery and SoHo, and a short walk to the West Village, is one of the most fun in the City. With 6, F and D trains right downstairs, its a quick ride to the Met, Central Park or Yankee Stadium!
From first contact till farewell email, dealing with Luca has been a dream. The apartment is better than described and is comfortable and sophisticated. Dolph and Patrick are beautiful cats and no trouble to look after. The location is sensational, subway at the door and walking distance to a fabulous choice of restaurants and really good shopping. We had a wonderful stay and would like to revisit and stay at Luca's again next year. I couldn't recommend this experience more. Thanks again for everything Luca.
We wanted to feel like we lived in NYC for a week and this was the perfect apartment! The location is fantastic, you are truly in the heart of Noho/Soho. Luca is the perfect blend of giving you all the information you need and being responsive, but also leaving you alone during your stay. Highly recommended, especially for longer stays.
Luca's wonderful loft is exactly like the profile shows - simply great; with an excellent and quite location.
What really made the difference are Dolph & Patrick 2 wonderful cats that I miss so much.
We had all in all a fantastic holiday in New York, partly thanks to our great accommodation and new friends!
Thank you again Luca for being so friendly and accomodating.
Beautiful and cozy loft in a very attractive area. Our stay has been very pleasant and the cats added some happiness!
The apartment is bigger than what it looks like in the pictures and it is definetly very comfortable: the kitchen is fully equipped and the other rooms spacious and comfortable and mostly very tidy. Very quiet.
Conviently located subways wise. Many nice stores and restaurants in the area.
Luca has been a perfect host, always available for a quick answer to all our requests, doubt, et al.
