Lovely quiet place to stay. Nice clean rooms and bathrooms. Moira was nice and did everything she could for us.
All three of us thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at this wonderful B&B. Moria was a very considerate host and the rooms were to a very high standard, immaculate decor and pristine, both the bedrooms and the bathrooms. The arrangement of very large double room and a separate single room was ideal since we had teenager travelling with us, and was very well-priced. She had made a great effort including many small touches, like well-stocked bathroom and range of drinks sachets, which made the stay both comfortable and luxurious. We really appreciated the solitude and silence of the countryside and the stunning surroundings that we could see from our window, including the beautiful horses. The breakfasts were an absolute feast and we were impressed with how much of it was locally sourced and to a really high standard. We would definitely recommend and we hope to make a return visit, soon.
Staying at Moira's was a very good last minute decision. Our kids really loved being on a farm and getting to see horses up close. Moira was very hospitable and cooked a nice Yorkshire breakfast for us in the morning. We liked her style of decorating: traditional English with a twist. Our family was travelling from Scotland to the Cambridge area and this was a good halfway point. And she gave us a very good tip for a pub: The Black Horse!
Very peaceful location - but good transport links. Lovely view from the farmhouse. We liked our room - very spacious, clean, all facilities!
Nice breakfast, plenty to eat and Moira was very attentive and welcoming! We would definitely recommend!
A wonderful place to stay, large, spacious room with a beautiful bed and spacious, spotless en-suite we could not have asked for more. The location and farm surrounds enhanced our trip experience. The peaceful location ensured a good nights sleep. Moira is a gracious and wonderful host who helped us with local knowledge and cooked a very generous and delicious breakfast.
Thanks for being a wonderful host Moira, we hope to be back one day and would certainly love to stay with you.
We had a really lovely night at Moira's B&B. Moira was welcoming, thoughtful and efficient host. The place is absolutey beautiful. The rooms we stayed in were the best B&B/hotel accommodation I have EVER stayed in. The many thoughtful touches anad amenities provided were unexpected and wonderful. Breakfast was great and we really really enjoyed our stay. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this B&B to anyone!!!!! THank you Moira. We would definitely stay here again. Regards Melanie Browne
We had a delightful stay with Moira. She was welcoming, friendly and hospitable. The rooms were enormous, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Moira had lots of special "little extras" waiting for us, then cooked us a sumptuous feast for breakfast. A wonderful experience!
I am girl Friday. I taught all levels of students for 30+ years and help my husband run our working farm in North Yorks. We are passionate about farming and the local community and I also breed sports horses!
