I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is excellent, I walked everywhere! I took the lovely walk through the botanical garden, stopped at an adjacent café for breakfast and coffee, then continued on to the art museum, federation square and the cbd. The other direction was about a 15min walk to Church & Chapel streets, with many good restaurants to chose from. I tried two Jack recommended and was happy with both.
The apartment is as pictured, and it is very quaint. The bed was comfortable. You are close to everything, yet far enough away to have a peaceful feeling. Another plus is onsite parking for anyone who will have a car. This is a luxury so close to the city. The only thing I lacked was a dedicated heater in the bathroom. There is a heater in the bedroom and the living room, and if left on for awhile they could heat the bathroom.
Jack was a good host, quick with his responses and helpful with recommendations. I would stay here again if in Melbourne.
This is a lovely apartment, nicely fitted out and a very comfortable place to stay. Full sized kitchen had everything we needed to cook some meals, along with some pantry basics. Very comfy bed and pillows. The Aesop products were a nice touch and made for lovely showers. Good location - despite being close to the main road double glazing in the bedroom windows kept the traffic noise at bay. Easy to explore the CBD, gardens, Chapel St areas by foot. Jack was a great host, super quick response and quickly helped us with any questions we had. Also provided a list of places to eat in the area. Only suggestion would be to stock the place with some extra blankets and quilts as there were no extras.
The house has the plenty of spaces, we had a lovely stay here, the place is very nice and well located, close to Royal Botanic Gardens and 20 minutes walk to city centre.
a nice apartment as described in the listing, place is clean and would love to stay here again if i visit melbourne again.
This was our first booking through Airbnb and experience was delightful. We had a wonderful stay here at this charming apartment which was very clean and well maintained. It had all the comforts of home fully stocked with all the essentials. The location is just fantastic and close to good food, access to the city and many other attractions. Would high recommend this place and will stay here again in our future trips to Melbourne.
Stacey and Jack have been great hosts showing us their amazing apartment and responded promptly to all our queries. Thank you, Stacey and Jack.

The apartment was perfectly located and very accurately described. It was warm, clean, comfortable and very relaxing. Nice ambience! The proximity to the Botanical Gardens, the river and restaurants was perfect. Great to be able to walk to everything! Jack answered all our queries promptly. A fantastic couple of days. Would love to stay longer next time.
We had a great time in Jack's apartment. It was so big!!! The location was so central and it was a beautiful walk over to the MCG and also the botanical gardens. Jack was also really fast at responding. We would definitely stay again!

About the Host, Jack
Hi I’m Jack,
My wife Stacey and I have some amazing places in Melbourne and the Yarra Valley that we'd love to share with you.
We have a stunning (circa 1854) converted stables in St Kilda, which is very close to Fitzroy and Acland Streets, the beach and many awesome cafes and restaurants and the Albert Park Formula One circuit. We have two stunning Art Deco apartments in the Botanic Garden’s precinct in Melbourne, which are close to the best of everything that Melbourne is famous for – shopping with Chapel St (South Yarra), Toorak Rd (South Yarra) & Bridge Rd (Richmond) all within walking distance to the best sports grounds in Australia including the MCG, Australian Open Tennis Arena, Melbourne Formula 1 Grand Prix and CBD all within 2 klms. South Yarra and the CBD have many of the best bars and restaurants and in typical Melbourne style you’ll have to scour the backstreets and laneways to find them.
Healesville Country House is our beautiful 5 bedroom home in the Yarra Valley, it is a former guesthouse circa 1900 that we've lovingly restored and created a family home from. We are two minutes from the main street and 5-10 minutes from some of the world's best wineries. It is the perfect place for unwinding with plenty of outdoor spaces including a pool and verandahs boasting some of the best views around.
Check out our profile for additional information and pictures. We're really happy to recommend our favourite restaurants, cafes and places to see.
