Ramon is a good host and very communicative. We went to Cancun in Mar. which is not very hot so even there is no air conditioner is OK.
This was the second time I have stayed at Ramon's. He is a very nice guy and I'm glad to call him my friend. His home is super clean and he's so nice! His home is close to everything. I am moving to cancun this May and I'm glad I have a friend!
I had such a great stay! The night I got there Ramon helped me arrange tours I wanted to do while in Cancun, which was great, because I speak very little Spanish. He definitely went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and offered ideas of places to go and things to see. I would definitely recommend booking with Ramon and will do so if I make it back to Cancun again. Also, he is just about a block from the Oasis Smart hotel which was incredibly convenient place to catch the bus to tours and a taxi/bus to somewhere local from.
The neighborhood was safe and convenient to the buses to the hotel zone. It was only a 10 minute walk to get to the nearest bus stop. There is a Office Depot within five minutes where you can use computers for a small fee, and there is a very close supermarket. Ramon was a nice and friendly host, and he has his apartment nicely decorated. The bed and room were comfortable. Ramon let me use his beach chair & umbrella, and he was extremely kind in picking me up from the airport and making sure I got a decent deal from the taxi driver who took me back. He also helped me find out information about where to go to do things. His ceiling fans kept the air circulating, and I never felt hot (I was there in January), but instead felt it was just right. I walked home after dark many times and had absolutely no fears or issues. I recommend your staying with Ramon if you are going to Cancun.
My trip was literally all booked 18 hours before I left Florida and I was in a pinch and needed a place to stay. Ramon was very quick in his reply and helpful with directions getting there. He is a very nice man and a great host. Clean room and private bathroom makes it worth it. Also get a little bit more of a local experience and can get some great recommendations from him. Great central location and accessible to many places by foot or a short walk to the bus station. When I return to Cancun I will definitely stay with Ramon again. Also there is no AC in the unit but it is surprisingly cool and comfortable in the room as there is a pretty powerful fan and window breeze through out the house. Thanks Ramon!
My friend and I spent our last night in Mexico in Ramon's place.
It was a very spontanous last minute booking (we have booked one evening before arriving). Therefore a big thanks to Ramon for his flexibility and very good quick communication.
Ramon is a very nice, warm guy. He was very friendly and helpful.
The aparment is well located in a walking distance to ADO station and 5 min walking to the bus to the Zona Hotelaria which was very convenient for our us.
Warm regards, Ramon!
