Where you’ll be

Andes, New York, United States

Our home is surrounded by working sheep and cow farms (don't worry, it's not smelly!) in a stunning pastoral landscape. The town of Andes is within walking distance and is booming with charming local shops, a cidery, a great bookstore, a great bakery. And so are the many nearby towns: Bovina (10 min), Margaretville or Delhi (20 min), Roxbury or Hobart (30 min).

You can enjoy TONS of outdoor activities:
- Hiking in Catskill Park or on any of the thousands of acres of protected NYC Watershed lands;
- Walking, biking or cross country skiing on the many rail trails;
- Kayaking on the Pepacton Reservoir;
- Fly fishing;
- Golfing;
- Downhill skiing at Bellayre, Plattekill or Hunter;
- Diamond Hollow Books (best bookstore in the Catskills) in Andes
- Bowling in Arkville
- Delaware & Ulster Scenic Railroad
