The Cob House is a one-of-a-kind, hand-built retreat crafted from sand, clay, and straw, just like they did centuries ago. This cozy, retreat offers a peaceful escape into nature with all the comfort & privacy you need to unwind. Inside, with a queen-sized bed, a AC/Heater and coffee & tea & snacks. The hot tub to soak under the stars. Between each stay, the space is saged to refresh the energy and welcome you anew. Come as you are. Leave feeling renewed.

We’ve made several upgrades to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable!
The bathroom now features a standard flushing toilet (replacing the previous incinerator toilet) for a familiar, fresh, and odor-free experience. We’ve also added a ductless heater/AC and a dual-zone heated mattress pad for comfort in the colder months
The hot tub has been refreshed, including a repaired temperature sensor, and is professionally cleaned every Thursday. Please note: a new hot tub lid is on the way, and the current lid is sturdy and somewhat heavy to handle.
Your privacy is important to us. You’re welcome to come and go as you please while enjoying plenty of space to relax. If you have any questions or need anything during your stay, we’re always just a message away!
Water shoes are welcome (Crocs, flip-flops, or something similar) for added comfort when walking to and from the outdoor shower and hot tub, especially in cooler or wetter weather.

When you’re ready to explore, take a short stroll to the nearby Buena Vista House, where you’re welcome to enjoy the common area on the bottom floor. Grab a cup of coffee or tea, play a game, or relax for a while. You can also explore the surrounding area and enjoy wine at nearby local vineyards.
Or stay tucked away in your own little world. ❤️
The Cob House is designed as a peaceful escape, a place for romance, reconnection, and making memories together.
A Note About the Property
There are two other private units on the property, but your accommodations and outdoor spaces are your own. You may occasionally see or hear other guests, but we do our best to provide everyone with the privacy and space to enjoy their stay.
Guests are also welcome to use the shared courtyard and side yard, where you’ll find outdoor games, seating, and inviting spaces to relax and gather.
We hope you settle in, slow down, and feel right at home. 🌿

You’ll have the Cob House all to yourself, but you’re more than welcome to explore the grounds during your stay! You’ll have full access to the courtyard and side yard, including the yard games and outdoor spaces.
You’re also welcome to enjoy the bottom floor of the Buena Vista House, where you’ll find even more games, books, and fun nostalgic treasures to explore. There’s also a full kitchen downstairs that you’re welcome to use during your stay. We want you to feel at home and enjoy all the little nooks and spaces that make Buena Vista House special! 🌿✨

The Cob House is located on the southwest side of the property and is surrounded by Banana trees, grass, flowers and is the perfect place for a private getaway.
