What a magnifica appartamento!! Modern, tastefully decorated and everything you could possibly need is there! We stayed here for one month in December so we were not able to enjoy its beautiful garden, but we can easily imagine what it would be like when the weather is warm. The location is just perfect! It's in the centre, which is almost entirely car-free, and nicely tucked away from any loud noises and crowds. It is nested on Perugia's stunning & romantic Aquedottò where you will feel like a true local once you have opened the window shutters watching the strolling people pass by. The restaurants and cafés are just a stone throw away and so are the many shops & markets. There is always something nice on during weekends and there are many interesting festivities organised in Umbria with its many hidden gems. Exploring Perugia's medieval town is just a real treat so staying here will give you the perfect base!
We never met David but he was always available for any questions we had. When we had some problems with the internet and the shower, he responded quickly and kindly. Everything was fixed within no time. David is the perfect 'far-away' host :-)
We were welcomed into the flat by Signora Patricia because, as David explained, he had to be away in Rome that day. It was a lovely little flat in a stunning neighbourhood close to the centre with friendly students passing too and fro all the time. The garden is brilliant (though we had unexpected thunderstorms that prevented our making the most of the space).
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Apartment (website hidden). The apartment was exactly as it appeared in the listing. Perfectly quaint, cozy and comfortable. The apartment was outfitted with virtually everything that you would need. It was clean and simply, but tastefully decorated. The location is also ideal. The apartment was a little hard to find initially, but we found it. It should be noted that the apartment is located a little ways up a long series of steps. Great for working off the late night dinners, but not the easiest to manage if you have a lot of luggage or have trouble getting around. While we never met David, he was always available via phone, text or e-mail and was very accommodating. Also, his restaurant recommendations were excellent. Last but not least, the garden speaks volumes. I hope to return just for the garden. It was like an unexpected oasis.
David's apartment has a perfect, beautiful location in the old town just next to the aqueduct. The main feature is the pergola, spacious and cozy, the perfect space for breakfast or dinner, and even if the weather is hot, the temperature there is still agreeable.
The apartment was clean and has a very nice feel to it. We immediately felt at home. We were only two, so the whole apartment was spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed.
We didn't meet David, but everything was well organised, the housekeeper was there for the time agreed and showed us everything.
I would definitely go back and we felt lucky being in this apartment for a week!
