As a friend said: this is a Rosamunde Pilcher dream... :)
The Gingerbread Guesthouse is a 350-year-old half-timbered house in the picturesque town of Bacharach. In the 100 sqm apartment you should immediately feel at home and enjoy the incredible views of the famous Malerwinkel, the city wall with the Liebesturm and Stahleck Castle. You can't get more Middle Rhine romance.

The space
The apartment is a self-contained area of the house. You only share the hallway on the first floor with me or in the future with other guests.

Guest access
My guests also have the opportunity to use the garden or courtyard by the stream. As I continue the renovation project continuously during the winter months, I ask you to overlook small details in the garden. It is “work in progress” but I give everything so that you also feel comfortable.

Other things to note
Since the hot water is produced in the basement, it can sometimes take a little while for the hot water to arrive in the apartment. :)

Neighborhood highlights

The immediate neighborhood is insanely nice. All are loving and helpful people who are not too curious. They also like to have a chat with my guests if they happen to meet on the street, but they are never intrusive. :)
