Let yourself in and relax - I live nearby if you need anything.
Freestanding, sunny and sweet, this vintage 1920's bungalow is a perfect homebase in the creative destination of Echo Park. This bungalow includes an attached and private tiny enclosed yard.
When you return from your day or evening out you'll find a queen-size bed in your bedroom, a small but charming kitchen with built-in breakfast nook, a large vintage bathroom with shower and tub, wi-fi, air-conditioner, heater and a coin-laundry on the premises. Street parking only.
The entire little house is yours - there are no shared walls.
Interaction with guests
I live nearby if there's anything you need. There a lock box on the front door so you can let yourself in and have complete privacy if that's how you prefer.
Don't miss Echo Park Lake!
A great way to get around Los Angeles is using ridesharing apps like Uber and Lyft on your phone - get them from the App Store or Play Store and try them out!
If you need to take the bus, the 200 bus goes directly to USC from the corner of Echo Park and Montana. The 2 and 704 on Sunset will take you downtown, Hollywood, or even to the beach (though that last is more than an hour's ride). the 603 and 92 travel to Glendale and Pico Union neighborhoods. The DASH runs up and down Echo Park Ave.
The bus is $1.75 - you can buy multi-day TAP passes from any of the check cashing shops on Sunset.
Other things to note
Please feel free to use any foodstuffs in the kitchen.
Please note that the bedroom of this bungalow faces the street and you can hear cars and people passing by. I leave complementary earplugs for guests - if you're a super light sleeper, I also rent the bungalow behind this one which is a little quieter.
There is no TV.
Sorry we're not able to offer a parking space. Parking is easy enough during the weekdays - at night or on the weekend you may have to go around the block. Dodger home game nights are the hardest but not bad by London or San Francisco standards.
no smoking indoors, no pets!
when checking out:
Please leave the ac remote on top of the ac. Toss used towels in the basket in the bathroom and trash in the bin marked 1435 on top at the rear near parked cars. Put the keys back in the lockbox and scramble code.
