About this listing
At the heart of the Medina, be seduced by the charm of a typical Moroccan house in a neighborhood remained authentic.
Close to the souks, the Jemaa el Fna Square and the main monuments, Michel and Eric welcome you to this old house Marrakchie transformed in Riyadh, which blend harmoniously old tradition and Western comfort.
Four rooms and one suite open onto a shaded patio, lulled by the murmur of a refreshing fountain.
From the terrace, you overlooking the treasures of Marrakech, discover the minaret of the Koutoubia and guess the snowy mountains of the Atlas.
Michel, the manager, was very polite and helpful in giving me directions. I only staid one night, but I can say that the riad is very pretty, centrally located in the midst fo the Medina. The staff were all very polite. They helped me organize a taxi pick up to go to the airport the next morning (cabs can't reach the little street where the riad is located, so a man came to help me carry my bags up to where the cab was waiting). It was very convenient, but also expensive (for local standards it was at least double the cab fee, but still cheap by US or European standards). I would recommend it if you have heavy luggage and have a very early flight. I was a woman traveling alone, but the area is so busy and full of people till late at night that I never felt threatened: the worst that can happen is that you need to pay 1 or 2 euros to some kids that insist on showing you the way back to the riad :)
