Close to everything but away from it all, our cabin is a gem in the forest. Enjoy the cool weather and tall pines of Prescott National Forest. Feed the birds and squirrels on the quiet deck, watch for the deer walking along their ridge path in the back yard. Temperatures in the summer range from 75-85 degrees, and in the winter we get nice snowfall so you can cozy up to our warm log fireplace after a long day of sledding.
We are high in the pines at 6300ft elevation yet just off paved road and close to Hwy.69, Lynx lake, and downtown Prescott. Great hiking trails in Walker and enjoy the monthly pancake breakfast at the firehouse in walking distance of the cabin the last Saturday morning of every month.
If you are looking to get away from the heat, enjoy to cool breezes through the pines, and listen to crickets chirping at night, then this cabin is for you.
No smoking in the cabin or shooting guns near the property. We might have fire restrictions at the time of the reservation and will be addressed at that time.
Great experience all around. The house was very cozy and nice. No issues and everything went smooth. House had everything we needed to have comforitable weekend.
We loved our weekend getaway at Lara's mountain retreat. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and spare spices, etc. The master bed was very comfortable, and the kids loved the pull out beds. She has helpful neighbors looking out for you as well. Great communication and accommodation. Thanks Lara!
