This is a 2-story themed florist shop, converted into a residence, about 2,500 square feet, inspired by the movie, Little Shop Of Horrors.

It's a geeky old florist shop in 'Dutchtown', not far from Downtown St. Louis.

Dutchtown is a neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri.

If you know and love the old movie, then you could share that cult-following with your loved ones as you descend into a new world of man-eating plants and rustic life.

The space
See our other spaces at STLMINDFUL if you're wondering about discounts and the such.

We love this place and we're pretty sure you'll love it too. A bit of thought certainly did go into the design and feel.

A place to be together with your group, for mindfulness and relaxation. For fun and togetherness. And to just feel kinda creeped out.

There are 4 bedroom areas, 3 dining areas, 1 full bathroom (2nd floor) and 1 half bathroom (ground floor).
There is a kitchen on both floors.
There is also an outdoor yard to the rear, fully fenced in, for your kids or your pets to roam around, ideally supervised of course, just in case Audrey II shows up.

So if people sleep in close-quarters (meaning two to a full/queen/king and one to a twin mattress), then it sleeps 20. If people sleep spaciously (meaning one person to any mattress, regardless of the mattress size), then it sleeps only 10 people.

Book with the confidence that your stay will be even better than multiple hotel rooms, both in terms of price and quality. Your large group will thank you for finding this listing.

If we're more expensive than the other places you're looking at, it's simply because we're better. We know what we're doing and we know how to look after our guests, as our reviews show. We are acutely aware that too many hosts are not familiar with the concept of 'guest service'.

We are proud to report that we have many return groups for all our various listings. We're always looking for ways to improve, so we need your feedback.

If you're new to Airbnb, this booking will make you a fan. Rest assured that we will make your stay as comfortable as we would want it if we were the guests!

The space is designed with the LSOH theme, complete with all associated period styles and furnishings!

If you are booking for a group of kids, we do require at least one adult staying as well (often a coach or teacher), aged 21 or over.

We do not (and legally cannot) supply alcohol but you can certainly bring your own if you're a group of 21+ people - just don't let it get out of hand please!

It's ideal for a group of friends/relatives who'd rather not spend $200/night each on a cramped hotel room, and who'd rather hang out together in one fun space, rather than have to always go out to expensive restaurants and bars. There are two kitchens, and you can stock them by going to the grocery store.

This is a spacious place with many things to do including:

• LED Smart TV (with Roku) in several areas
• High Speed Internet
• Refrigerator
• Microwave
• Regular range with oven
• Coffeepot, Toaster

Let us know in advance if you need a Pack'N'Play for a small child, and we'll make it happen.

It is also great for hanging out with friends while practicing social distancing and being safe for one another. Always remember to be safe.

Negatives from previous guests: There's only 1 full bathroom, and 1 half-bathroom, which can be a challenge with so many guests.

Where you’ll be

St. Louis, Missouri, United States

While the influence of the German settlers remains, Dutchtown rapidly began to diversify in the 1990s.

Dutchtown is home to long-standing, locally famous purveyors of sweets: the South Grand location of locally famous chain Ted Drewes frozen custard stand, as well as Merb's Candies and Dad's Cookies.

More recently, a number of resale shops and boutiques have clustered in the Downtown Dutchtown area along Meramec Street between South Grand Boulevard and Compton Avenue.

This space is only an 11 minute drive to the Ballpark (baseball) ,or a 12 minute drive to the Enterprise Center (hockey), or a 12 minute drive to the America's Center (conventions).

I'm an emergency physician, internist, urgent care operator, wannabe author and repeatedly failing entrepreneur. Most of all though, I am immensely grateful for everything around me in this accidental universe. I say failing because I believe it's the only way to succeed, and also because it makes the winning even sweeter when it happens. I meditate, travel, do TaeKwonDo and listen to audiobooks. I aim to focus on catering well to my guests, just like I believe it's important to focus on my patients. I have been hosting teams for meditation and mindfulness at my suites since June 2016 and have been so fortunate to have an overwhelming demand from Day 1, with guests from around the world. They can be left to their own devices (meaning no interference from me or my people in the form of guided meditation, acupuncture, yoga and all that new age mumbo-jumbo) or they can use our services. Either way, the goal is for you and your group to have a rejuvenating and team-bonding experience, whether it's just 2 of you or 20 of you! My job is to ensure that your visit surpasses your expectations. I also love hosting guests that are new to meditation and mindfulness. I founded Downtown Urgent Care (located at 916 Olive Street, in Downtown Saint Louis) in March 2009. The mindfulness 'holosuites' that I host are part of Downtown Health & Wellness ( (Website hidden by Airbnb) and it's my passion to prevent disease, as well as help cure disease and manage trauma. I'm vegetarian and I live in the present, taking nothing for granted. I look forward to hosting you during your stay in Saint Louis. During your stay

Little Shop of Horrors is a 1986 American horror black comedy musical film directed by Frank Oz. It is a film adaptation of the 1982 off-Broadway musical comedy of the same name by composer Alan Menken and writer Howard Ashman, which in turn was based on the 1960 film The Little Shop of Horrors, directed by Roger Corman, about a geeky florist shop worker who finds out his Venus flytrap has an appetite for human blood. The film stars Rick Moranis, Ellen Greene, Vincent Gardenia, Steve Martin, and Levi Stubbs as the voice of Audrey II. The film also featured special appearances by Jim Belushi, John Candy, Christopher Guest and Bill Murray. It was produced by David Geffen through The Geffen Company and released by Warner Bros. on December 19, 1986.

Little Shop of Horrors was filmed on the Albert R. Broccoli 007 Stage at the Pinewood Studios in England, where a "downtown" set, complete with overhead train track, was constructed. Produced on a budget of $25 million, in contrast to the original 1960 film, which, according to Corman, only cost $30,000, it was well received by critics and audiences alike, eventually developing a cult following. The film's original 23-minute finale, based on the musical's ending, was rewritten and reshot after test audiences did not react positively to it. For years only available as black-and-white workprint footage, the original ending was fully restored in 2012 by Warner Home Video.

If you don't want to see your hosts, then we'll remain under our invisibility cloaks.

I and/or my associates (Pam and Jimmy) are 100% reachable 24/7 to answer any questions you may have, make you feel comfortable getting in and out of the city, and provide a smooth check-in/check-out experience.

Our goal is to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible and frankly, that you'll wish to recommend Little Shop Of Horrors to other good people!

We love Downtown St. Louis and we love to show it off. It's our goal that you have a fabulous stay here.

We like to lend our loft as an 'themed meditation suite', being part of the Wellness Retreat at Downtown Health & Wellness. Although you may have an unguided meditation stay, please ask your host about registering your group for a guided meditation.
